My elderly mom is all set up in her chair with a half gallon of ice cream. It is exciting. It's nice to have a happy ocassion in this world that we can all celebrate.

On an aside and I'll have to find a link. Today in our Daily News front page was the headline "BUGGER OFF" with mustaches drawn on the lovely couple. Why? Because "Our Princess is better than your Princess". We have Princess Grace from Philly. Just like us to get smart a*s over a Princess.

I've been watching the live coverage online and on TV. Almost thirty years ago my British mother and I watched Charles and Diana's marriage. My Mom was ever and always a true Brit until the day she passed. She would have enjoyed watching Diana's son on this day. So in her honor I will watch this joyous celebration of love and tradition for her while sipping a Pimms..."cheers".

I was listening to a program last night on the TV and the TH said that Kate would be arriving by car instead of carriage.

That this wedding will be more understated that previous weddings because of not wanting to appear over the top while so many are struggling during this recession.

I don't know if that's accurate about the car. We will see.

I'm eager today and will have to DVR the wedding. Kids have me booked all day with errands and soccer practice and senior grad trips committee's...hah!

Hi Kat, I heard on CNN tonight that it is because she arrives as a commoner and leaves the church in a carriage with her title of royalty.

I can't believe I am glued to the TV, gosh, with excitement abounding. LOL I am happy because I believe they are truly in love. That makes all the difference.
