All things Prince William & Kate Middleton

Maybe Catherine? Hopefully it will be today.

Me neither!!! I think they strive to be historically correct as per Prince Harry is actually Henry and his cousins are Beatrice and Eugenie.

Any thoughts on your guess for a name.? Either historical or modern?

"Albert Inacan"
"The baby formerly known as Prince."
"Bride"

Steely, your naming choice is Inacan. Where does this come from?

Ps I know someone called bride. It is a call back to the old country and pronounced as

Bride eeee

No, it's Albert Inacan.

Prince Albert Inacan. Get it. :floorlaugh:

Also, it would be Princess Bride.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I am so ready for some "good" news sooner rather than later. Locally, we are dealing with a double homicide in Dearborn (started out as a robbery/homicide with a missing person whose remains were found yesterday) and the Detroit bankruptcy filing. I would love for the royal baby to come today or at least over the weekend so that the media doesn't dwell only on bad/sad news. :)

ETA: My baby name pick for a girl: Victoria with a combination of Elizabeth/Margaret/Anne/Diana/or Frances as middle names. No preference for a boy because I'm convinced that the baby will be a little Princess :)

I am ready for some good news too. Prince William needs to "help" out his dear wife a bit. He helped get her this way, he can help kick start the labor, if you know what I mean. Or he can take her for a jog. Either way, let's go people! LOL:floorlaugh:

The Queen wants this baby to be born because she is going on vacation next week, and we all know that no one disrupts "Her Majesty's" vacation. Not even the third in line to the throne is going to make the Queen change her plans.

LONDON (CNN) -
Royal watchers eagerly await the arrival of a child who will be heir to the British throne. Here's what you need to know and the latest developments:

• As the wait for the royal baby continues, so does the debate over the Duchess of Cambridge's actual due date. Britain's Telegraph newspaper reports Friday, citing "well-placed sources," that medical staff at St. Mary's Hospital -- where Catherine is expected to give birth -- were told the due date was July 19.

• A royal source told CNN that her due date was July 13. She and Prince William announced at the start of the year that the baby was due in July, but did not announce the date...

• Queen Elizabeth II is among those keen for the new baby to greet the world. On a visit to northern England on Wednesday, she was asked by a little girl whether she wants her great-grandchild to be a boy or a girl. The queen replied: "I don't think I mind. I would very much like it to arrive. I'm going on holiday."

Read article that said the expecting couple abruptly left her parents home to head to London at a aprox 3:15 pm (their time). Could be the "watch" is really on! Last pm I painted one set of toes pink and the other blue, they are on Royal Baby Watch too!

I think if it's a girl it will be Elizabeth Diana! It could be Victoria or Alexandra too. Elizabeth, Victoria and Alexandra are my and my daughters names!

If one of the royals was pregnant in 1775 would we have fought to break away from them.

My vote is Richard after the newly discovered grave of Richard III the maligned monarch.
For female, I'm tired of Elizabeth, how about Anne, to resurrect the oft-maligned-buried-in-an-arrow-chest queen of 1,000 days.

Like Richard, Anne - not so much.

Anne of the Thousand Days is among my favorite movies ever :)

If it's a boy, how about Mountbatten after Prince Charles favorite uncle who was murdered by the IRA. The two of them were very close.

But I want it to be a G I R L !!

In either case I think the baby will not be over seven pounds, it look like she is carrying mostly in front and it does not look like she gained a lot of weight. Still guessing a girl and tipping out on a limb, it will be born before midnight (hoping).
