No, sueing LE won't restore her good name, they did their job and investigated Casey's story. Casey is the liar responsible, who said to LE,"ZF-G took my child"!!!!!

If I had suffered by being falsely accussed I would certainly have a law suit...ZG has been falsely accuse and lost her dignity.

Sorry for my ignorance, but is there a reason why they cant use the statements already made by KC, LA, CA and GA on the record to answer the depo questions?

Why does it need to be repeated when they already have the answers from statements released in the murder case?
Can they not use that as evidence in a civil case?

Also late Friday, Casey Anthony's attorney in the civil suit against her, Jonathan Kasen, asked a judge to throw out a defamation suit that Zenaida Fernandez Gonzalez filed against his client.

Kasen filed three motions in her civil court on Casey's behalf. A motion to dismiss with prejudice; That asks the judge to drop the suit, and would not allow it to be re-filed. The second motion, is a motion for sanctions. Kasen wants Zenaida's attorney Keith Mitnik of the Morgan and Morgan to be penalized by the courts for fling what he claims to be a frivolous lawsuit. On top of that Kasen filed a motion for a 57.105. That asks that the plaintiff and her attorney pay for his legal fees.

So, ZFG, files a lawsuit, against KC to say loud and clear, this is NOT the ZFG, I was talking about. So, KC not only attempts to ruin this woman's life. My guess, because KC was ill-advised that she should file a counter claim and only realized it when she had to plead the 5th for a written deposition. Dangit, can't get money that way..

Casey was shown a photo of this ZG and said it was not the same "ZG" who "abducted" Caylee. So why doesn't Casey just answer the question in the suit the same way and it'll be over with? I don't understand the counter-suit either.

I don't know enough about legal procedure. Maybe the counter-suit was filed because the court did not find the ZG civil suit to be frivolous. Now the new motion to dismiss the ZG suit is like saying, "Hey, you should have originally thrown this out based on its frivolity"?

KC wants to have have her cake and eat it too. I only hope the judge sees it that way when he rules on these motions. All she had to do was formally state that Zenaida has nothing to do with it. I'm sure they could have settled the issue out of court. She doesn't want to lose the precious alibi in her upcoming murder trial...
