**all things zfg lawsuit merged **

*bold mine

Very interesting. So, LE has stated that this is the only ZFG in FL that has connections to Sawgrass Apt., and the Sawgrass Apt. thing came from KC, too. So, if it was enough info. to lead LE to this particular ZFG, do you think she may have a viable suit?

Absolutely.

Absolutely.

Good news. Your posts are very helpful. As I read them, little light bulbs go off in my head and I finally understand, lol.

Ok I'm back........IMO you are angry at the wrong person - this person was living her life minding her own business driving around in her NY tagged car checking out the Sawgrass Apartments -

I never said I was angry at ZG, I just believe the lawsuit is frivolous. The purpose of the lawsuit is to publicly clear ZG from any involvement in the disappearance and murder of Caylee. IMO that has already been accomplished as the media, LE and even JB has publicly stated this ZG is not the same ZG that KC is accusing. I honestly think it was a mistake for ZG to do live interviews on national TV, before that, not many even knew what she looked like. The only reason the very name ZG even comes up anymore is because of this lawsuit. Everyone already knows that KC lied about ZG...it will be proven at her trial.

my bold.....

Interesting......since this lawsuit is the only ref. we can find that has the F-name in this ZG's name.....or even an F.........there are many rumors about another middle initial.

So where's her lawsuit if there is no F-name included in hers ??

If her name is just ZG and not ZFG it's just one factor for a judge or jury to consider when evaluating the case. It would not be enough, by itself, to get the case dismissed. One of the ways a defamation plaintiff can establish that it was reasonable for people to think the defamatory statement was referring to him or her is to show that people, did, in fact, think it was him or her--even if all the particulars don't fit.

Thank you so much, SCS, for explaining this in layman's terms. This is the first time I truly understood that ZG had a viable suit,...even though I supported her suit, I never understood the legal workings. You are appreciated! :blowkiss:

TY...for your time & answers...

might just be me but I think 'adding' a name, plus the kids, tats, years, etc...
would certainly add to this being 'frivolous' ......I'd also have to ask about her "Pay-Pal' account that was set up, & monies received for her many interviews.

The "F" hyphened name is no different of a lie than changing the make and model of the car that ZG drove. I believe ZG's lawyer when he says he feels confident that despite the "half-truths/lies" he can prove to a judge or jury that initially KC meant to frame THIS ZG.

Yes, I saw your theory....

Don't you think KC would have to be *very* lucky to find this ZG in one day, living in a Motel 6, then to follow her to sawgrass apts. where ZG *said* she was looking to rent.

If WS'ers are right this ZG has had some evictions & credit problems, I find it hard to believe she was really apt. hunting (in her own name).

I hear you. But she filled out the app card in her own name, say rather than one of her children's. Lots of indingent (sp?) parents steal their own children's identity. It would appear ZG did not.

I still do not know the answer to the question of how long Z had been in Orlando. When did she change her myspace info and all that?

I have a lot more questions than answers.:crazy:

She has civil/family service cases on record with Orange county dating back to 1995.

IIRC, wasn't the really odd thing supposed to be that ZFG has 6 (?) children, but only listed two on the application. And that Casey claimed that ZFG had two children? I believe I saw this on an interview with the real ZFG.

Say what? In the interview with Police that I heard, KC was asked if Zanaida (the "nanny") had any children, and she said..."No". And then she was asked if Zanaida could even HAVE children ..and she said "I have no idea, we never discussed that". So...apparently she has told two different stories here....(gee...imagine THAT..:rolleyes: )

I would like to know a lot more about this ZG. I have a feeling that this case is a sham. Not that KC does not deserve to be sued, why not , she doesn't have anything anyway. I do believe this woman would have done better to sue her employer for wrongful dismissal. If it was a chain hotel maybe she could have gained something. Why did she still have a NY license plate if she was living and working in florida all that time? I cannot even understand why a judge would allow a civil case to go forward when a criminal case is pending. Makes not sense to me. However, I am not a lawyer.

Who steals my purse steals trash;
'T is something, nothing;
'T was mine, and now is his, and has been slave to thousands;
But he that filches from me my good name
Robs me of that which cannot enrich him
And makes me poor indeed. -William Shakespeare

Excellent choice.

Just my thoughts... if I was on the jury for the ZFG case

(not to stand up for Casey)

1. Casey seen a picture of her and said NO she did not know her and she was to old.

2. The children's names are different than the roommates names.

3. There are several other ZG's and they are not having problems with jobs.

4. ZG was found by a local news station and ZG CHOSE to go on TV in the "shadow". If ZG would have turned the tv station down in a request for an interview. We would not know or care about her. Just like we do not know or care about all the other ZG's in Orlando.

5. Casey stated that ZG was 25 years old and sometimes wore straight or curly hair.

6. When asked if she had children Casey said No or she did not know.

Maybe Casey was wanting to use the ZG name from the lady down the street who's house is for sale. Why shouldn't she file for defamation? Why do not all the ZG's in Orlando sue?

ITA with the bolded statement above. This ZG is NOT the only one in town and she did not have to do the initial interview with the news.

hmm,.well I guess the one who stole her purse (job)also stole her name, cause she can't see to get another job. She should have sued to devils who kicked her off her job.. if they did.

Z.F.-G. by her counsel, John Morgan, filed the defamation action on 24 September, three weeks before the true bill of indictment.

or the *others* that followed (and kept her name/face in the news)......

I re-read a GVS show from 8-08-08....her little blip on it simply said she had talked with LE and she had been cleared.......nothing said about job loss, home loss....etc.

Also it is the time frame. Caylee was last seen (confirmed) on June 15 and this ZG being at Sawgrass Apartments June 17th and LE theory that Caylee's remains were put at Crime Scene around the 18th of June.
