You make some good points about why a SMART rational person would not use the prado, but we are dealing with someone who was perhaps less than smart and in a panic.

WHO EXACTLY....is the 'SMART RATIONAL PERSON' you might be referring to...can not be GBC....he neither smart....nor rational...:fence::truce:

Apologies if this has already been posted. I'm a bit behind in reading up on posts. But, I have been thinking this as well, thanks Makara. Now, when the Police when to his house the morning he reported Allison missing, would they be allowed to check inside the house, i.e. mud on shoes, the clothes he was wearing, mud on tyres of the car and under the rims of the tyres etc. Would they have been able to take samples then and there? If they were able to take samples of mud for instance. I think they would have been able to, or can they only do it once he is a POI, because by then he would have ditched a lot of things and washed lots down the drain? :waitasec:

Yes if police had reason to believe a crime had been committed and they must have thought enough to set up a crime scene. This allows them to search and seize and to prevent anyone from entering or leaving the property unsupervised or with items.

I think the sticker thing was discussed several threads back and I seem to remember it was decided this is a sticker that can be removed but then not stuck back on again. ?

I am only saying what i was told....believe it or not....I thought it would be difficult to stick back on....'Century 21' stuff...:jail:

There were photos of the Prado AFTER Allison went missing and the Century 21 Logo was still on the back window as far as I can remember. SInce it has been released from Police and NBC is driving it, it apparently no longer has the Century 21 sticker on the back window.

That's the thing isn't it grannie...we don't know for certain two 4WDs were involved...there's the reports of sightings of two cars at Anstead but we don't know if they were even involved in the case or not.

Whose car is in this photo? If its the Captiva, it looks like it has a "road sign" style baby on board type of sticker in the window. Seems odd to have 'children on board' signs, but no booster seats the morning he called the police?

Nothing to add except to say that you are all a lovely bunch of folks - whenever I log onto WS, I think of the Elton John song "Candle in the Wind", as it reminds me of your collective goodwill and staunch determination to see justice prevail for Allison.

Here's a question for you all. Can electricity and water meters be read at specific times? For instance if GBC went to bed at 10 and slept like a baby there would be no significant changes to the usage of electricity and water. But if you were up hosing, cleaning, showering etc you would be using water and electricity and the meters would be ticking over. Can the water and electricity companies get an exact reading of the usage of electricity and water for those specific hours on that specific night? I really hope they can. Cheers to you all.

NBC has the Prado now and it doesnt have the stockers on it. I think there is a pic of NBC next to the Car when he want to vist GBC at Wacol. I also think Indromum said the stickers were on the back of the Prado when she spotted GBC at Kenmore

Hi Stella...yes, the sticker was on the rear window on 2nd June when I spotted it on Brookfield Road. And I agree with Aunty that the Prado was not used to dispose of Allison. The police would not have released it if it was to be used for evidence down the track.

Minni, I think this photo was taken while Allison was still missing. Was the Captiva taken by QP straight away, if so, this wouldn't be it. MOO

Correct. The Prado is now at skull manor, ding has been repaired and no Century21 logo anywhere on the vehicle.
