It would be interesting to know how keen TM was to be with GBC I mean could she ostensibly turn a blind eye to the fact that GBC was going remove Allison from his situation.

I think there would have been many times in their conversations that TM would have had the when are you leaving her conversation with GBC. I mean - she is practically accepted as a D-IL for the senior BC's. If GBC had so many affairs why bother leaving TM - he could string her along as long as he could. As far as the personal satisfaction of getting a bit on the side goes - he was serviced quite adequately it seems. Was this relationship again with TM a purely monetary payback?

If he could have groomed the other mistresses similarly would TM still have been the front runner for his affections? I tend to believe that he would have discarded TM the moment his debts came good and he had another few floozies to work his ego requirements and maybe one he look at being used as personal investment insurance.

I think TM was just insurance for his debts and probably better insurance than poor Allison.

Indeed, Liadan. GBC seems to go for independent women with money. I beleive this is what attracted him to both Allison and TM. I believe IMO they were meal tickets. A financial means for him to advance himself.

I think the flings with floozy's were sexually motivated. I dont beleive that to be the case with TM and Allison. IMO.

Welcome Tishy :)

in relation to the girls belongings being at the house last week,

If the Baden Clays thought GBC was going to be able to come home, it is possible they are keeping the girls things because they believe GBC will be let out on appeal, and can be reunited with his daughters. What a sickening thought. I hope it isnt not even possible.

Why wouldnt they give them to the dickies for the children?

Thanks Ollijack for that link. Good descriptions about the combination of the personality types that commit these eraser murders of their partners. I also was interested in the info about the "organised" or " disorganised" crime scenes as an identifier of the type of killer, i.e. accidental following violence or well planned.

this is interesting, its about men who kill their wives....eraser killers......

Possibly they feel unable to face the Dickies at this time?

I myself have read that blog many times. I always found this to highly notable:

"The narcissist is not usually a killer. He likes to reinvent himself, and he needs a constant supply of adoration and positive reinforcement, but his usual pattern is to just disappear when the supply dries up. However, when Machiavellianism is added to the mix. The Machiavellian is a master manipulator."

I think they may have just left the toys there for the Dickies to sort through & or pick up.

I really hope so Marly. I know several of you that live in Brookfield saw the activity there the other week. If anyone sees any evidence of the Dickies getting things for the girls, I would love to know that. I feel worried that the BC's are planning ahead.

Someone last week said the place is now cleared out and flowers all gone. IF the BC seniors did plan to give the things to the girls, would they have taken them home to their place? is that what you mean Marly?

No I think the BC's would have just left the toys at the rented house for the Dickies to sort through or pick up. The owner may have even let the Dickies know the toys were there.

remember repeat of domestic violence doco, a matter of life or death, on abc1 tonight 11.35 or you can watch online if you miss it
http://www.abc.net.au/4corners/stories/2012/07/26/3554420.htm

I watched it and it was pretty unnerving especially how the police in WA seemed to turn a blind eye to repeated requests for assistance. I hope they learned their lesson. Imagine if all involved in this type of violence were to be treated like armed robbers, I am sure the homicide rates would drop drastically.

In relation to the doco on DV - It was shocking that Andrea Pickett went to police so many times in fear for her life and they did either nothing or very little.

Didn't they say that about 50% of all murders in Aus are domestic violence situations Rational? I'm sure that was the figure, which is just outrageous!
