Here is a pic of OW pointing to her forehead. I didn't take the screen capture but it does look like it was taken from the video that is being searched for at the moment. From memory that particular video was labelled The full Gerard Baden-Clay interview. I've Googled for ages trying to find it without success. The pic of OW is associated with the link below.

Thanks Makara you are probably right but I will not be convinced until I see the actual video again. Hopefully Alison Sandy comes through for us.

I have a question... are we allowed to discuss what others have written in the past if we do not mention the posters name?
Some of the stuff is pretty helpful in us doing our sleuthing work, y'know figuring out what's good and what isn't?

There was some pretty interesting stuff back in the day.

Oh wow!! You found one? I'm sure that will be very interesting reading. You'll be able to answer all of our forensic questions better than anyone. lol

<modsnip> Keen to know, my cousin, who dabbles in crime writing, has that book - she has used it as a reference many times and comes across as an 'expert' when she writes, it's quite incredible!

Perhaps the reason we aren't allowed to quote the poster 'with the numbers' is because they are of interest to the police and have become 'classified' information or something. Just thinking outside the square! Keen to know, my cousin, who dabbles in crime writing, has that book - she has used it as a reference many times and comes across as an 'expert' when she writes, it's quite incredible!

Wow, I guess you could fool anyone with this info. :)

If you want to discuss something from previous threads as a topic that's fine as long as there's no rumours involved & no discussions about the member that posted them.

Hilary BONNEY is my cousin. Her dad told me about the book.

HILARY BONNEY, a Melbourne-based barrister who also teaches at the Victorian Institute of Forensic Medicine, is the author of “The Society Murders: The true story of the Wales-King murders”. Hilary spoke of the personal effect the killer, Matthew Wales, had on her, as she investigated and wrote the story of his killing his mother and step father.

Lets hope Howdunit: Forensics is helpful to you all. Mods might find it helpful as well.

  • #275
Ah, don't get too excited BN, Doc might have that book too.

No I don't have it - but I have some forensic textbooks we used as students, and again later in surgical training. However, the book sounds like it might be quite interesting - and I have a Kindle too... ;)

But, my specialty is with living patients, rather than pathology or forensics, so I don't claim any particular knowledge of forensics apart from what I've learnt in my career. However, my specialty does deal with some pretty dramatic emergencies, many of which are involved with forensics either directly or indirectly, so I have probably more exposure to the field than many clinicians.

I also happen to have a niece who is a Scenes of Crime Forensic Scientist in London, working for the Met. So she is always able to fill in the odd gap via email ;)

Now - off to the Kindle store.... :rocker:

I would like to know if this is ok too. There are some wonderful and informative discussions that I think are on the topic and also some very knowledgable posters.
