Loving that AWESOME moment when you check the news during your lunch break and see the headline Geoff Dickie given control of late daughters estate :D

Yes that's correct. A convicted murderer cannot benefit from their victim's estate. So if he is convicted I expect he will end up with just lots of debt, not that it will matter to him as he couldn't spend any money while in jail anyway.

Cant believe that disgusting baden-clay family have even been allowed to draw $67,000.00 from funds already. It is obviously all about the money to them. Just wish that they could be made pay back the money once he is convicted. IMO Allison's family should get all assets and the murderer should get all the debts. Let the bc family beg and grovel to cover debts. Damn shame their insurance policies couldnt be claimed on.

Well sadly, regardless of what he has "allegedly" done, it is his half to draw on.

Snap Stella!

So, the BC family has been allowed to use $67000 already? Was that said in court today? Do we know for sure? Would that have been legal costs? If so, I'm fuming too!

He was legally allowed to that $67k its his share. "Alleged" murderer or not its his money. He clearly knew what he was entitled to in that instance.

RE: Auction of the house not so sure MSM should've printed the address I mean is it currently occupied by tennants? We now know why that company (WOTS) had been updated now. OW was arranging the sale on his behalf.

I know what you say is true and the way things work, but its wrong.
What about - Allison's life was all hers, and he has "allegedly" done a major withdrawal on that".

Sometimes being fair and legal sucks :banghead::banghead:

Oh, didn't realise it was his money, as I haven't been keeping up.

They showed a pic of the house and said the suburb on the news. It had the flagpole out the front and stood out like a sore thumb. They even showed the name of the house but I cant remember what it was. It would be so easy to find, being the suburb its in.
