Aunty maybe the Police may be able to access the SES to help do a thorough search of that triangled area you speak of.[A metal detector may help too].

Really? Do you think they would? I so want to look there.

Looky here, :floorlaugh:
<respectfully snipped> wears a yellowey, mustardey, dirtishy coloured jacket when he is pretending to work and unfortunately due to lack of self respect and no sense of direction , smells like a..... wombat, (eats roots and leaves)

You missed the comma after eats, Aunty...

As we all prepare for the festivities ahead, please take a few moments to think of the precious girls, no doubt missing their mum like crazy, with their world turned upside down.

I know the Dickies will do their best tomorrow, as they have done all along this sorry journey.

I am looking forward to March next year - Justice for Allison can not come soon enough for me.

Wishing fellow WS members all the best.

Take care.

Everyone here is so intelligent and I often feel like im getting in the way

Ummm... I think you forgot I was on this forum. There's nothing intelligent in this mind of mine!

Love your posts, don't leave :)

Wishing all of you a Merry Christmas! I hope the Dickies and the girls can find some joy and happiness under the circumstances. I hear that Olivia and Ian are hosting a picnic at the beach for people who are alone/would like some company for Christmas.

I think he threw it at a time closer to phoning the police.
The reason for the panic?

What about the girls? Surely after GBC told them (just after 6am) that Mummy had "fallen down a hole and won't be back" they would be telling him to phone the police? I mean, that's what I would have done when I was their age. I've never actually HAD to call the police about anything, but I've always been well aware they are there for when something major happens.

The point is that GBC may have realised that it would not look good if his kids are interviewed by the police and they find out that he believed his wife had fallen down a hole while out walking, but he saw no need to call anyone for help until about an hour later.

On another note, I find it amusing that he made THREE trips to different Doctors to have his "shaving cuts" examined...despite police not requiring him to do so. Did none of them fall for his "totally convincing" explanation? Were they not swayed by the power of his mustard jacket?

Merry Christmas to you all and have a safe and Happy New Year.
Thinking of the Dickies and the girls at this time, and may the girls draw strength from the people that love them.

Apparently Telstra records produced show the 13 hours.

A data connection of 13 hours could still leave an amount (if small) of charge in the battery if data was not being exchanged for much of this connection time. If the iPhone had power saving settings turned on it would darken the screen etc whilst still remaining connected.
IF the phone did stay in close vicinity of the FTP phone tower for these 13 hours that it was connected and was then turned off and taken back to Brookfield (where it was apparently pinpointed to be many days later) - this could explain the FTP connection AND the Brookfield 150m search.

The FTP location would therefore have to be pretty secure if Allison's phone was to be moved around... do any of the Baden-Clay family own property over that way? (Overseas travellers included)

Hi all & merry x-mas. Thinking of the girls today....

Regarding the phone @ fig Tree pocket, I live in pullenvale (approx. half way between kenmore (Brookfield) and kholol. i reecall seeing the FTP location on my phone bill even though I don't make calls from there. There must be places along mogill rd. that connect to the tower over the river.i don't think it necessarilly means that anyone was IN Fig Tree Pocket. It has really bugged me since day one that they were looking for the phone no one ever searched up & down moggiill rd. also, the corner area of mogill, mt Crosby rd& ( near o'brien has lots of creeky/little bridges. At one point they included pullenvale & even Bellbowrie as possible localities for the phone search but as soon as they"heard from someone" it was within the 150 m . They stopped looking anywhere else. I don't doubt it was the right decision at the time, but never felt enough was done to find that phone. Hope this helps. Children stirring time for pressies. Love to the Dickies & the girls today.

Well...you know...it would be kind of amusing to see how he'd fare on the outside...

I wonder how long the beard would be by now? I wonder how many car crashes he would have had? I wonder if he would still be sitting up in his little office each day in Toowong Tower like a hermit? I wonder what car he would be driving by now? Maybe a 1992 Holden Barina with number plate: INOCNT.

Hey, I wonder if he has a profile on AdultMatchMaker.com.au? Maybe that's worth a search? Although I am a bit anxious about what I would see when I do a search for horny single guys on that site :-P

<modsnip>

Don't forget the presumption of innocence, no matter how much WE may think otherwise. He has been charged, but not yet tried. Yes, the evidence points pretty much in his direction as the guilty party. But we don't know all the evidence yet, and we haven't heard the defence case against what is apparently ALL circumstantial evidence.

Now I also happen to think he's PROBABLY guilty, but I still try my damnedest to maintain an open mind, and to presume his innocence. As Alioop has pointed out - it would be great if he could prove that he is NOT guilty, for the sake of the girls. I doubt it, but it still has to be considered.

One of the problems with cases based on circumstantial evidence is getting the burden of proof across that line of "reasonable doubt". It may yet happen - who knows?

<modsnip>

We THINK, but we do not KNOW.....

Sorry if that offends some, but the presumption of innocence has to be maintained, otherwise it merely demonstrates to the court and the defence how hard it would be for GBC to get a truly fair trial.

OK - end of rant....
