I wonder what happened to the news story on GBC? I thought Alison Sandy said there was something coming up? Boy, my curiosity is peaked about last week.

Has anyone had contact with Alison Sandy in the past? Is it worth contacting her?

I've been in contact with Alison Sandy and the other matter she referred to in one of her tweets is in the works but will take a bit more time.

Makara you lovely thing! Thanks so much for contacting her. Guess we all have to wait a bit longer. Glad that GBC is still on their radar.

Thanks Makara. Couriermail is rightfully being very cautious. IMO they are fully aware they are dealing with a highly litigious family and do not want to cause any detriment to the Court hearing of this case.

@alisonsandy: there may be something later in the week separate from this though. Will keep you posted. RT @ZandaStrofield @benwakely @couriermail

It will be interesting at the trial to see if DVDs were hired out to either GBC or under Allisons name (type such as cold case etc) or if these types were found either at their home for viewing or had been down loaded at some point onto a computer for viewing from the Internet . Maybe they were avid watchers of The Good Wife for sometime. Not just that week Allison was murdered.

B-C's were in court only the one day. No details. AS won't tell what she can't - not worth losing her job over.

I seem to remember that GBC claimed that it was his mother who asked what 'taking the fifth meant' - if so, we can suggest that he was in the company of Elaine at the time. Nice psych symbology there - 'the good wife"... One has to ask, "Who is basking in the reflected glow of the tv screen?"

Drove over the bridge this morning and there were a reasonable amount of workers there and "slow down roadworks" type signs. On my way back over again this afternoon I see that they appear to have placed bitumen in the area where you can pull over and park by the bridge - the area that previously was prone to becoming quite overgrown. Have any other locals seen this?

Thank you MM for your thoughts today. Trying not to change the subject. I thought the Family Court is not reportable in MSM.

This from a CM reporter

@SteeleTallon:
Razor or fingernails? The wounds on Gerard Baden-Clay's face will be a key question for the JURY in his murder trial http://t.co/TZtTvyM72q
21/03/13

The Judge said, the evidence produced by the Crown.,..

"Justice David Boddice rejected that, saying the circumstantial case had factors that "if accepted by a JURY" would make a strong argument."

Yes I saw the same thing about 11.30 this morning and thought they must be putting in a parking bay. I remember some locals saying people occasionally fished there but I've never noticed it. It would be nice if it was some acknowledgement that people want to be able to keep being able to place tributes to dear allison there

It would be lovely if they included an official memorial there for Allison.

I hear what you're saying Strangeworld but if it was me, I'd rather it was somewhere filled with sunshine and light and happy times. Maybe a park local to Brookfield where she took the kids to play or something like that. Somewhere sunflowers could grow and that her girls would be happy to visit. IMOO

Totally agree Lollypop. Wouldn't it be great to have two memorials?

I just don't like to think of the bridge becoming overgrown and messy - I was thinking some sort of acknowledgement of what happened there would mean the council would always keep it on their list of areas to maintain and keep tidy.

I haven't been to the bridge personally, though I will one day.

Hope you all have a good Friday!
