Fancy looks like he has lost weight. Talk here all about whether or not to gag media and what is admissible evidence

Is he sitting in a more visible spot than at the committal BN?

I'm heading home now. BadenClay had no friends. A few of Allison's family were in court. He sits in glassed area facing the judge with his back to us. Had to smile as he was being brought out this afternoon. One of Allison's relations walked in the opposite direction with only the glass between them and gave him a little wave. This amused me and all the Dickie camp

Thank you BN. Not a lot, yet you have said heaps.

With his back towards you eh?

Sounds like Head in the sand treatment. "You lot don't exist if I can't see you."
Another way to put that, If you put a bucket over your head, then you do not see anything bad going on around you.

And a little wave from one of Allison's relatives?
Sound like the boot might be on the other foot at last.

I think that may just be the layout of the courtroom?

How many fingers were used in the wave:floorlaugh:

Yes, that little wave was like a major finger in the air to GBC.

If anyone is thinking of going to court tomorrow, it should be far more interesting than today. That's all I can say!

  • #254
Ali and BN it was great that you both were able to go to the hearing today. Shame though that there is still a non-publication order in place but hopefully that will be lifted tomorrow.

Baden-Clay back in court ahead of trial

The court heard from the pathologist who carried out Allison Baden-Clay's post-mortem examination.

Legal argument centred on the admissibility of parts of his evidence, and that of medical experts who assessed scratches and other marks found on Baden-Clay following his wife's disappearance.

The couple's former family counsellor is expected to give evidence in court for the first time when the hearing resumes on Tuesday.

Thanks Marly. That's interesting that was reported. I wasn't there for the afternoon so maybe the judge made some changes to his earlier non publication order.
It really was not an exciting day, and no new info. About 10 legal studies school students that were there left after a while no doubt looking for a more interesting case to sit in on!

Ali, are you allowed to describe the feeling between Allison's family & GBC? Maybe any sideways glances or stares? Was he clean shaven? Maybe pathetic of me asking but, um maybe something to chew on please?

  • #259
I didn't detect any "feelings" between GBC and who I presumed to be Allisons relatives. The ladies were wearing yellow ribbons.
He had to sit with his back to the public gallery but they could have seen his profile from where they were sitting. I wasn't there for the wave that BN saw.
He looked good, clean shaven, short hair cut and slim.

Alioop do you have information that leads you to believe it would be worth my while making the effort to go in tomorrow ?
