Things G did to actively assist the police during the search:
  • gave different versions of Allison's walking route to his sister, neighbour and the first officers in attendance to make sure the police searched everywhere he could think of
  • wrote a car off on way to give statement because he was jumping out of his skin with anticipation
  • told TM to 'lay low' so she wouldn't bother them
Ah, the car crash.
Application for Forensic Procedure Detective Senior Constable Cameron Andrew McLeod:
On the 21st April 2012 the defendant voluntarily attended Indooroopilly Police Station and in his lawyers presence he consented to providing a voluntary DNA sample and for photos to be taken of his person.
Indooroopilly Scenes of Crime photographed the defendant, and upon removal of his shirt, injuries were evident on the body of the defendant consisting of a scratch under the right arm pit, an abrasion on the left side of his chest, and scratches on the left side of his neck which resembled fingernail scratch marks.
The defendant asked police whether it could be identified whether the scratch marks were self inflicted.
The defendant went on to state that he had made the scratch marks himself.
The defendant did not remove his trousers during the examination.
On 22nd April, I obtained a Forensic Procedure Order to conduct a complete forensic examination of the defendants body.

Whilst proceeding to Indooroopilly Station, the defendant was involved in a single vehicle traffic crash into a concrete pylon.
There were no brake marks at the scene and the defendant refused to answer questions in relation to the cause of the crash.

BreakingNews:
There is a group of Humdinger sleuthers Curiousasacat to get a CaseClosed.

While we are Waiting for Justice, the discussion goes back and forth as everyone is Keentoknow the details.

Has the MountainMisst on Flinders Range got anything to do with it?

It CouldBe, but let’s have a Squizzey at the Berry issue?

No, I don’t agree. ItstheVibe of the thing. It leaves me sosocurious.
If I was a Fly on the Wall, I’d have this CaseClosed in no time.

OMG its a StrangeWorld. It’s got us all Thinking like Maxwell Smart. And during the UnfoldingTruth, They’ll Get You in the end. And DrWatson will verify that!

When it is CaseClosed, there will not only be Champagne4lulu or LollyPop(s), but the BreakingNews will be that we’ve all been good Trooper(s) and it will make all our Possumheart(s) light up like Redlightthroughpaper.

Apologies to those included and not included in this bit of silliness.

:jumping: :great: :yourock:

Allison was found slightly under the bridge so she was not visible from the side or by air. If she was swung from the side so that she landed slightly under, possibly the tip of the glove was twisted in her cardigan/jumper which was used as a possible ligature. It is believed she stayed were she landed because of her imprint in the mud. The actual concrete road part of the bridge looks about 1 metre deep so it would be hard to swing her like this unless a rope has some form of slip knot or was doubled and then pulled back up to the top. That yellow & blue telstra (ski) rope would be perfect for the job and to save the rope burning or cutting into the hands, gloves would be necessary. No dirty muddy shoes & maybe a two man job.
If this was the case the rope would have grazed Allison's skin unless her jumper was used for that reason. Mmm thinking about the grazes on GBC under his pasty armpit (ewww) I'm wondering just that.
I know we've looked at this inside out before, just my thoughts.

Were those koppers logs involved or seen in the vicinity?
Seriously I need to know now!

There has been much discussion about planned or unplanned.
I have leaned toward unplanned for the most part.

There were certainly a few things happening that could give rise to GBC giving thought if not a defined plan.

16th April
GBC and Allison attend appointment with Carmel Richie.
GBC reluctantly agrees that Allison can vent (grill him) for 15 minutes each 2nd night until the next session. (Which was not arranged)

17th April
Finacial advisor at Allisons request contacts Asteron insurers about reducing policy by $200,000.00. The policy was overdue and going to expire on 19 May. (Court Doc Tommy Laskaris)

18 April
Allison writes entries in her journal
one being --
Snowy
* drive together
* seat down
* lie there afterwards
* how many times
* do afterwards drive (??)?

So if we are to believe GBC (ha ha) then Allison believed the affair with TMH had ended.

But a text was sent from Allison's phone to GBC
11.59 am 18th April
Having fun with your companion?
Hope your not putting the seats down in the back of snowy?

Either Allison knew OR it may not have been Allison that sent the message from her phone.
(maybe someones aim was to sure up the jealous and depressed wife trail)
A call was not from Allison's phone until 2.08pm that day.

GBC return text to Allison
I am sorry you have nothing to be concerned about.
Feel free to ring or text me anytime. Love G
Is it me or is that a very weird thing for a husband to say to a wife?

10.08pm
GBC searches Taking the fifth and self incrimination.

I am now pondering the possibility that GBC may have been giving thought to ways he could solve his problems and he needed money and he needed it fast.

He needed it before it was reduced by some 200K -- did he have a plan or did the opportunity present and he took it?

Sounds to me like he didn't want to take his trousers down ... Or am I stating the obvious?

That was a beautiful thing BreakingNews

Sosocurious maybe Allison wrote those things in her journal after she sent the text message. That sounds like something she needed to 'grill' him about at their next 15 minute session. She knew the affair wasn't over and after her text he also knew, she knew! IMOO

TM had intended to meet with GG for a discussion face to face on the 19th and talked to him instead on the phone while he was with the girls at Bwana's.
Is that right?

  • #673
Perhaps Allison was using find my phone to track G?
But if he was looking after a property with an upcoming open house he would have lots of reasons to stop there.

WFJ that is very possible.
As some of the entries had been crossed as this one had I did think that this may have already been discussed but I thought (and I might be wrong) that Allison was unaware of the continuing relation with TMH and GBC.

Could I be so bold as to say, that the car crash stuff was no more than a diversionary tactic, perhaps more so a "buying time" tactic that was staged to evade the Forensic Procedure Order?
That Forensic Procedure Order would have allowed a full and detailed reportable image, including photographs, of the defendants bodily injuries as they appeared at the time.
The bruises and fingernail scratches at that time were in their full evidence. Raw.

Don't know
GBC WAP/NET thingy logged on to the Pullenvale Tower at 5.52pm on the 19th
so maybe there was a quick face to face.

I don't know if we can assume that the exact location where Allison was found was where she landed if she was thrown from the bridge. All we know is the lividity in her body was consistent with being in that position shortly after death which as Doc has said could have been 2 to 3 hours or more. So it is possible that she was thrown over the bridge and her body moved a bit by the tide for a while until she stuck in the mud and remained in that position. So my point is she could have been easily thrown over and moved by the tide to the position under the bridge. Thus no swinging her or using a rope necessary.

I am very surprised that he wasn't required to strip completely. Who knows what possible injuries he may have had that were obscured by his trousers and maybe shoes too.

LadyBird way way back when the Prado had front damage we threw it around ad nauseam until we all were pulling our hair out on what caused it.
We all swore never to mention koppers logs again. My apologies, the devil made me do it..........again. :blushing:

Silly me I was believing GBC. (lol)
If he knew - she knew than he would have been very concerned about Allison and TMH being together all day at that conference.
