I am quickly realising how much detail one can forget in two years! I am certain that I found a pic of GBC at that particular COC meeting, in the following month's local rag (the Brookfield Bulletin). I posted about it, so will do a trawl through my old posts later tonight to confirm.

I'm thinking that we pieced together his movements from the meeting on the thurs morning, to kenmore village straight after (visited the chemist?) then onto cross country at the school - roughly. Does this ring a bell to anyone?

Your post from back on 05-16-2012.....

Hi all - I think someone mentioned this a while ago, but I just looked at our April edition of The Local Bulletin (a local rag for those of you who aren't local ). There is a shiny pic of GBC in there as president of the chamber of commerce.

interestingly, the article says that the monthly meeting is at 7am on Thursday 19 April at the Kenmore Tavern. he must have gone to the chemist after the meeting - the beginning of a day that would change his life forever.?

I'd forgotten about this Fuskier. Thanks for the heads up. There is a roundabout at the intersection of Rafting Ground Road and Winrock Street, Brookfield. I've attached some screen grabs for a better view. There are also two bus shelters in Winrock Street just up from the roundabout. Hmmm.

There is not a lot there really. Vacant land on one side and housing on the other. I'm intrigued as to what Nigelaine were doing there.

Oh no! Don't tell me we've been sleuthing the wrong roundabout all this time!

After the cross coutry race.
According to GBC's statement.
He went to Pullenvale House and cut himself changing light bulb.
Work collegue said :; No
He was rushing to attend Parent teacher interview.

If there was a parent teacher interview he would have been scratching those damned bites and nursing that cut hand.

If A and G left the house in separate cars and stopped to talk near the roundabout and something happened to her, someone needed to drive her car back to Brookfield.

I just stumbled across this article from 2012. Note the date. This was published the day before GBC was arrested. And all those 12's!

After reading this article again two years hence, there is only one person IMO that fits the bill of being offered immunity. She is now a witness for the prosecution.

Allison Baden-Clay murder: Rumour of indemnity application for accessory rejected

QUEENSLAND'S top lawmaker has denied claims he's been approached to grant immunity to a suspect in the murder of Allison Baden-Clay, but says he would be happy to consider such an application by police in the future.

Attorney-General Jarrod Bleijie yesterday blasted Ipswich councillor Paul Tully for blogging about an alleged offer of immunity from prosecution to a person who may face charges over the murder, as an accessory before or after the fact.

"Although the police have a prime suspect for the murder and apparently have no doubt whatsoever about that person's guilt, they are apparently facing some serious evidentiary problems in proving their case beyond reasonable doubt before a judge and jury," Cr Tully wrote on his blog.

"If the evidence of a reluctant accessory would overcome that evidentiary difficulty and ensure the guilty party is brought to justice, it would be a powerful inducement to a person in such predicament to give evidence against the murderer in exchange for an iron-clad deal to give them legal immunity from prosecution.

Gawd, I hope not TGY! :floorlaugh: There was mention of the Rafting Ground Road roundabout by some of the local WS members last year sometime. I was always confused about these two roundabouts until I checked them out on Google Maps. The Rafting Ground Roundabout apparently doesn't have a CCTV camera, or didn't in 2012.

How can someone sit on the stand and admit 'I helped kill someone and get rid of the body' and then get off Scott free'. Does this happen often?
They are returning an accessory back into our society.
Can the police change their mind and say 'Oooopsy the judge says LIFE, you've been tricked!'

Pfft immunity. Am I watching 'Survivor' or what?
This is incredibly WRONG! The cops can borrow my avatar handcuffs & drag the (alleged) accessory down into the dungeon cells.

And as weird as it sounds, I've thought for sometime now that GBC will get 12 years! I certainly hope that I'm wrong. :scared:
