Makara said in an earlier post - The police must have suspected TMH was involved. Why else would they go to the trouble of electronic surveilance.
I find it interesting that the police told GBC that they would want to speak to TMH TODAY

I am assuming they must have phoned GBC given they attended 18 Oldfield Street to speak with him. I am guessing they didn't say, and then will collect your razor, go for a drive to the station and seize your phone.
In statment - TMH said the police arrived a short while after GBC phoned at about 9.30am.
Kellie Thompson statement - we arrived at 18 Oldfield at about 11.35am.

So it appears that both GBC and TMH were with police when those last 2 calls were made by GBC.
IMO electronic surveilance may have been as rapid as the initial response.
Particularly given find my phone had a mind of it's own.

Oppps I misread what you said Makara but the next post seems it was Toni's address?

No I wasnt saying it was TMH address

I just thought it odd that she had been told by GBC that the police would want to talk to her today and infact they arrived a short time after GBC had phoned and told her at 9.30am according to her statement.

While one lot of police are visiting TMH another lot are on the way to Oldfield Street to see GBC and take him to the station detouring to collect the razor.

Who lives at Oldfield Street - beats me

They went to Toni St Lucia residence from memory.

I've got a feeling that 18 Oldfield Close was TM's mother's place.

Very interesting find here Makara. I find the proximity to Winrock street (where screams heard, Nigelaine seen etc) intriguing.

One thing that has intrigued me (well, one of many) is the note Plains Clothes Constable Kellie Thomson mentioned in her statement. Why was this note so important? I hope that it will be included in the trial exhibits.

10. When I walked back into the dining area and sat down at the table where I observed a purse and a number of Suncorp credit cards spread over the table. Below the credit cards was a number of pieces of paper and I moved the paper so as not to place my book on top. As I moved the paper I observed a note that was handwritten which appeared to have been written by a child.

11. I then had a conversation with the defendant about the note which was recorded on the digital recorder and the defendant informed me that the note was written by his daughter Sarah that morning.

12. I then seized the handwritten note.

13. I am able to produce the handwritten note that I seized from the kitchen table of 593 Brookfield Road Brookfield with Property Tag P1200161454. Marked and tendered........

It intrigues me how the statement says things like I had a conversation with X person about "something". When I worked as a health professional we always had to be very specific .......... Nothing vague. I wonder if they have other places where they keep records of all these "something" type statements with precise details of what they are. I am just curious. Perhaps someone who knows about these type of statements could explain more. In many ways I can understand the need for some of these things to be vague. ..... .. But it doesn't negate the other need for precise documentation too.

Makara in Joclyn Frost statement point 43 she says that TMH mother lives at Karana Downs.

Oldfield Street

This might not be of any significance but looking at Ben B's statement, I couldn't help noticing that Constable Thomson has stated his address as "lives at an address provided to police".

So GBC owed BB $90k (due June 2012). Police also obtained BB's phone records. What was the reason for that again, can anyone remind me? BB is also now a QLD Police Recruit, isn't he?

Extract (BB statement)

37. Toni said words to the effect of “Allison probably had someone pick her up and she is ok and trying to teach Gerard a lesson”. I said “it would be unlikely she would leave the kids” Toni said “yeah”. I was distracted by my daughter who I was at the time picking up from day care and listening to Toni at the same time. Toni said that she had been interviewed by police for 6 hours and she felt that she may have said some things that may incriminate him but I don’t give a 🤬🤬🤬🤬 I am not hiding a thing”.

Be careful folks. You can discuss the content of the affidavits but that's as far as it goes.

One of our rules is we don't sleuth people not named as suspects or POI.

Mobile phoned seized at 12.12pm

From Kiwijayne's post a couple of pages back - there's all those 12s again

Numerologists would have a field day with this case.....

Third day of the trial is the 12th June - could that be High Noon?

I'm just wondering, most reports I've read about Allison since 2 yrs ago, LE have stated her cause of death is unknown due to decomposition etc? I'm hoping this isn't the case. :please:

The Singh murders in Bridgeman Downs where the reports said the same but after the trial of Sica, their cause of deaths was revealed in the news and in which order they died. But initially, it was said that due to being submerged in warm water of the spa etc, cause and exact time of death was unknown.

So the police keep many details to themselves to help convict the perpetrator, who is the only one who really knows the full horror of what they've done. jmo

Unfortunately it is true that a cause of death was unable to be ascertained. The autopsy report is quite clear on that though it does speculate on possibilities.

I'm back and soooo ready for the trial and justice for Allison! Looking forward to Tuesday and thanks to my fellow sleuths and particularly those in Brisbane for their work, thoughts, photos , attending Court etc! Love Daisy in Perth

I love all the "something" conversations in Thomson's statement. By 9:50am they were onto him. He allegedly murders like he runs his business, very poorly.

Im rereading the documents, does anyone else think "leah" is Olivia in his first statement to police and it was mistranscribed? - oops scratch that, was a police officer

In TM's statement # 4

#46 summary
Toni states that on night of 19 April 2012 both of her children were with her at her (now vacated) unit in St Lucia & that she remained at home all night (address is supplied in statement). The bedroom door of the room her children both share is left open, it is also situated close to the main entrance of the unit. She is not aware of any security cameras in her unit block.

According to real estate listings of other units in the same building (also known as ‘Jerdanefield Tower’) it features “secure building entry with intercom and swipe card access”.

Types of swipe card systems used on buildings

Keycard lock - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Keycard lock - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Mechanical holecard, bar code, magnetic stripe, Wiegand wire embedded cards, smart card (embedded with a read/write electronic microchip) and RFID proximity cards.

Computerized authentication systems, such as key cards, raise privacy concerns, since they enable computer surveillance of each entry. Currently RFID cards and key fobs are becoming more and more popular due to their ease of use. Many modern households have installed digital locks that make use of key cards, in combination with biometric fingerprint and keypad PIN options.

Bar code technology is not a secure form of a key, as the bar code can be copied in a photocopier and often read by the optical reader.

Should police need to verify TM’s claims she was at home all night on 19 April (in absence of any security cameras) I wonder if the building access security system had eyes & ears that night?

Good point, Seeking. When I worked for DOCS we had to be SO specific in case anything went to trial. But saying that, we psychs also often kept separate private files with the full personal details of the session. The files we kept on record in case we were subpoenaed were very brief just outlining what we had covered in a session.

However, that's hardly the same as a record of a police interview with a potential murder suspect!!! Seems strange to me as well!!!
