yes, she did, but do we know that she saw the other girl or was she led to believe there was one? Or possibly there was another girl but who would be the person to write RIP if that girl was dead? A second girl that was there? But Michelle did not mention two girls being there.

a) a girl was there and she was killed. Who wrote RIP?

b) a completely different (3rd) girl there at the time that the 2nd was there (before Michelle) and one girl died before Michelle arrived to leave the 2nd girl to write RIP?

c) there never was another girl when Michelle arrived and it was all psychological terror meant to instill fear and assure submission.

I've got no answers, just lots of questions and speculation.

Agreed, so many questions. Maybe Michelle wrote the RIP and her name? She said another girl was there and one day she woke up and the girl was gone. It's possible he only told her that, but the 'woke up and she was gone' seems like they were together. ?? Who knows, we may some day!

I didn't say that I think they are. I said I hope they aren't.

I just don't trust people who move to a different state after a relative is abducted. If my daughter were missing, I would spend every single waking moment looking for her. I would not pick up and move.

He already lived in Tennessee when she went missing I believe (his parents and siblings all live there). I read articles mentioning that she frequently visited TN before she was kidnapped and that the TN family had spent time with her about 3 weeks before she was kidnapped to celebrate her birthday with her (during which her grandfather had promised her a car and he now plans to follow through on that promise when she comes to visit in TN; the article said he had saved money for it all these years.)

In response to a 4th victim, and the name written on the wall, i am not surprised we have heard absolutely nothing about it. This is the kind of detail the police CANNOT let out..

Think about it from the point of view from the family of the 4th victim. if they are told she is dead prematurely, and she turns out to be okay, how would the family feel during that time. LE needs to be 100% sure that whoever it is was there, and is now deceased. and also need to be in proper touch with the family. all BEFORE the media can know.

From what I understand Michelle has led a very traumatic life before the abduction and we know she suffered horribly during her captivity.

reportedly some learning issues. reportedly she was gang raped in middle school. reportedly she was raped by aboyfriend of mother as a young adult/older teen. reportedly she gave birth to a child just out of HS. reportedly her mother's bf was physically abusive towards her child, then a toddler. Reportedly her child was taken from her and she was set to testify against the bf/(rapist)/father of child.

regarding teh brother. I have heard the one who visited her was a twin. I do not know if he is the same one reportedly abandoned in a dumpster but I do believe he is the one who was booted out onto the streets at 14 (or 16 depending on which article you believe) Mother has another son who was fathered by the BF who abused Michelle toddler son.

its all very confusing but these are the various facts I have seen reported in articles. I will not provide a link because what I encapsulated in the paragraphs above was info gleaned from piecing together countless articles which seem to all have bits and pieces and vary in their timelines.

I have no idea if all the above things are true, I have just seen them reported.

If even one third of them are true I would say that is plenty enough to define this young woman's life as one ongoing trauma and it breaks my heart for her.

She had to watch as news reported on the search for the other 2 and she knew no one was looking for her.
She had to believe nobody cared. How very easy would it have been for her to give up, to think there was no reason for her to continue but she did continue- she survived with little to look forward to she never gave up.

this implies that Freddie is NOT Michelle's twin but that he has a twin sister whose name has not been released.

Michelle Knight's backstory continues to confuse. Eventually it will become clearer but regardless of the who's who, this girl breaks my heart. Just so hurtful to think that she has seemingly never known a life of stability and safety.

I am unsure as to whether I can post or even discuss his 'appeal' here, but it does state that the mother and grandmother of the victim testified against him.

Sickens and saddens me ~ I want to hug her! The other two girls must have thought they at least had something to look forward to should they ever get out, and yet Michelle hung in there, with the worst lot to deal with. Possibly the thought of her son kept her going. Oh how my heart breaks for this girl!!

However, at the age of 17, Michelle was assaulted at school, and her reports were not taken seriously. The teen became pregnant shortly thereafter and dropped out of school, though she planned to eventually return. The woman lost custody of her son, her mother said, after getting into a relationship with an abusive man who injured the boy.

The missing persons report filed in 2002 notes that Michelle Knight had a mental condition that made her easily confused by her surroundings, according to News Net 5.

A cousin, Brenda Dinickle, said that Michelle Knight had "the mind of a child," according to the New York Post.

He may have staged his favorite mannequin w/wig, etc. during the first year of her captivity to terrify her. Only unlike his ex-wife and neighbors, she did not know it was not an actual human female. Anything is possible as he is a twisted sexual deviant and predator.

I do believe them. He sounded credible to me, enough detail. Wasn't a sketch done of the abductor at the time and it turns out it matched AC perfectly?

I wish someone would remind Barbara Knight that for 11 years, someone else decided for Michelle who she would see and who she wouldn't see. And now she finally gets to chose for herself who she wants to see and who she doesn't. By trying to go through the courts, all she is doing is trying for force her will on Michelle. Just like Castro did.

Michelle has a lot to cope with right now. She needs time, time to heal physically and mentally, time to find herself and time to make her own decisions. Trying to force herself on Michelle just gives Michelle one more problem to deal with. A problem she doesn't need. And Ms. Knight herself has admitted publicly that there were previous issues between herself and Michelle. Those would have to be dealt with too, before there could be any relationship between herself and Michelle. All problems Michelle doesn't need at this time.

She may make claims about Michelle's stability. She may try to make it appear that Michelle cannot care for and protect herself. But she needs to be reminded that Michelle survived a horrendous situation. And she lived through it. She delivered a baby. She cared for herself. And she will be given persons to counsel her...... legal counselors, emotional/mental counselor's, and if necessary financial counselors. She will be given what she needs.

And if Ms. Knight doesn't want to consider her daughters wants and needs. Then she needs to consider herself and her own wants and needs. If she attempts to force Michelle to deal with her now, she very well may ruin any future chances she has of reconciling with her daughter.

I am having a hard time making sense of the timeline of Michele.

She is 32. She was abducted in 2002 at age 21 or 20. According to her aunt, she had been gang-raped at her JUNIOR HIGH and gave birth to a child ABOUT A YEAR before her abduction. So, she would have been 19 or 20 when she had the child. And that would make her 18 or 19 in junior high?

I feel like that doesn't make sense.....

I read her son was 4 when he was taken by CPS shortly before her abduction.

She has just exited from an ordeal few of us can even fathom, and for her own mother's legal representative to make such a statement is appalling.

I would tell her mother, and her legal representative, to hit the road and don't let the door hit you in the backside on the way out.
