Just getting the real facts in this case is a challenge. So much misinformation abounds. I personally don't care about Italy's "motivation" report. Their interpretation is not my area of focus.

I'll pass.

I did not see it but it doesn't sound like something I would be interested in, especially if it's AB and "Amanda's Nightmare".

The Motivation Report is the summary written by the Judge. It is the only authentic report about the trial.

At least it provides the facts. Conclusions can be your own.

The toilet for that bathroom is in another room from the sink and mirror where the blowdryer is kept.

I'm glad you posted that picture because I was just about to post about how her blow drying her hair story made no sense for finding the poo. It's clear the blow dryer is used in the laundry area. Her email I think it was said she noticed the poo when putting the blow dryer back. There is a picture from the doorway of that bathroom and you can't even see into the toilet.

And the story of it slipping further into the toilet was said. Raffelle talks about it in his prison diary. Neither one of them could keep their whole stories straight, like RS saying Filomenas door was open when he arrived.

Again more misinformation. The unflushed toilet was not in the small bathroom that Meredith and Amanda shared, the one that Amanda took a shower in. There was also no smell of bleach in the cottage that the girls lived in. The smell of bleach was in RS's apartment. Not sure where the thought is coming from that the unflushed toilet had gone down below the water line so that someone would have to point it out to anyone that there was feces in the bowl.

police statements.....Knox pointed out the feces, although by the time the police arrived, the feces had sunk deeper into the toilet and were not visible. The police were surprised that she was so adamant to point them out. From reports, she was anxious because they weren't visible. She made such a big deal of it, they found them. Maybe the police would have found them anyway, IDK, but AK made sure they did. Maybe she just wanted to them to get the man's DNA, but then why did she shower with turds in the toilet? Would you or would have flushed it in disgust?

Also, police reports say that her hair was not clean and she stank, not like a person just coming out of a shower.

She is being tried under Italian law, where the crime occurred, not under US law.

Yes, but she is legally in the US. She didn't flee there as an illegal fugitive - the Hellman court freed her and gave her permission to leave Italy. America is her home country, so she had the legal right to return there.

So, therefore, US law has an input as to whether or not she is extradited. The extradition treaties that the US government sign surely don't give them the right to sign away the constitutional rights of their own citizens?

Disclaimer:
I don't hate Amanda Knox.
I don't personally know Amanda Knox
I have an opinion on her guilt, in this case, based on the evidence.
I believe in justice for victims. In this case. I believe the only victim is Meredith and Rudy.

How is Rudy Guede a victim, I must ask? Are you implying that Knox and Sollecito framed him? That they somehow got hold of his DNA, handprints, footprints, and excrement and placed it in the apartment without leaving a trace that it was planted? Or are you saying that they were in cahoots with Guede and Guede allowed them to not clean up his DNA but get rid of theirs? He lied multiple times and only named Knox and Sollecito in order to get his sentence reduced. His initial defense never included them and I find it strange that you consider him a victim despite his DNA being found in, on, and around Meredith.

IMO, Guede is hardly a victim and he is the only one the evidence implicates.

Anyway, I guess I will be waiting forever for someone to explain the motive Knox and Sollecito had for allegedly murdering Kercher.

I think it does when a US citizen murders someone and is convicted and that conviction is affirmed at the last step in a country with a extradition agreement. Like for instance... Italy.

Crap! I didn't mean Rudy!
Geez my mistake.
I meant her former boss the innocent one she pointed the finger at.

Sorry!

More misinformation. But I suppose that next it will be the feces was below the water line so that it was not noticible by police until Amanda pointed it out, however it somehow made an appearance in time for a photo to be taken of it.

Again, the shower that Amanda used was NOT the same one that RG used the toilet in and neglected to flush.

I don't think it does, in fact I think the constitutional rights of your citizens still apply in your country. Diplomatic or political concerns don't give your government the right to sign those things away.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to what the ECHR says, and I think it would be prudent if US extradition decisions waited for the same.

Yeah, that's pretty off base. They are required to record the interrogation and yet magically crucial points of Amamda's interrogation were not recorded. There are ample reasons to question the actions of the police here. <mod snip>

Another reason why it should have been tossed out. No offense to the Italian police department, but that is extremely sloppy.

Oh. Haha. Patrick, you mean. Yes, he is a victim.

Since the toilets are different there than they are here, as in very little water in the bowl itself, I would imagine that one will smell the mess with no problem at all. Especially when it had been sitting there all night.

MOO

It was tossed out!

The statement that Knox signed after 1-2 hours of questioning was excluded from the trial. It was not evidence. It is irrelevant.

Amanda's interrogation was tossed out?

Hes not a victim and that's been cleared up but..
BBM
His sentence was reduced at his first appeal because of his fast track trial. At his first appeal AK and RS had already been sentenced and his sentence was made to match there's and reduced 1/3 which he was entitled to for taking the fast track option. I don't agree with this at all but it is an option available to all defendants in Italy. It was not a reward for naming anyone. There more of that misinformation...
