I have read about some very unusual experiments done by sleuthers that are trying to figure out how physical injuries occurred, or clothing appeared a certain way.

If the hoodie is half zipped and suppose the hood is pulled down to restrain the arms, what prevents anyone from simply stretching the fabric in whatever way is necessary to have arm movement? Wouldn't the zipper simply unzip more, or the fabric stretch and tear ... especially in a life or death situation?
Yes, one would think so.....

That is what I thought and why I tried it. My jacket is quite stretchy, but I couldn't move my upper arms at all which really limited how much I could move my forearms. As I said, if nothing else had been going on, the jacket in itself would not hold one forever; but temporarily during an attack, it would give a single attacker more freedom with their hands.

If the hoodie is pulled down, but above the elbows, then moving arms up should solve the problem. If the hoodie is pulled down, but below the elbows, then pulling arms out of the sleeves would solve the problem. For the extensive bruising to happen on the face, it seems like this struggle was prolonged. Would it really take that long to free one's arms?

In any case, there are many instances in the crime scene that indicate this murder was not committed by one person. Even the Supreme Court concluded that more than one person was involved in the murder. To put this all on Guede requires the omission of many facts.

If RG was already in the house when MK got home, at what point did she put the clothes in the dryer?

Ak said MK put clothes in the washer before she left. The girls said she told them she had laundry to do when she got home. If RG surprised her immediately in the bedroom, how did the laundry get into the dryer?

I'm not sure they had a dyer - only a rack. I think the clothes were still in the washer.

I'm pretty sure there's no mechanical dryer in the flat.

Thanks for pointing that out to me. I guess I was looking at side by side pics thinking one was a dryer. My mistake.

just trying to show what type of jacket this was which Meredith was wearing :

Not really a hoodie nor cotton jacket - more spandex type of fitted thing: *See bottom link for jacket type*

If it is polyester, the material would be very tough, wouldn't tear. And the tightness would be restrictive.

It looks more like cotton -spandex blend - both tight and stretchy.

Looks 100% cotton to me, not that stretchy at all :)
I have never seen one which did not have the spandex blend. But either way, cotton has stretch to it, for certain.

On the Adidas website, the jackets that look like this one are 85% polyester, 15% cotton blend. :)

I bet 7-8 years ago the quality ones were cotton :)

Which is exactly how the jacket would end up if it was removed after the attack after being used in this way. Wasn't Rudy's dna found on the jacket?

His DNA was found on the left cuff of the sweatshirt (hoodie) (pg 192 Massei)

The sweatshirt (hoodie) was collected on Dec 18, so if evidence collected on Dec 18 should be excluded due the possibility of contamination, then we shouldn't be concerned about DNA on the hoodie.

It was on the floor by the wardrobe initially, they pulled it out of laundry basket on 18th. Now that's some crime scene management.

To me it doesn't look like the form fitting arms that you see today. JMO

I also think the newer ones are less likely to have that kind of cuff.
