Yes, why didn't he? Why did he deliberately choose to leave Amanda and RS out of the picture, in the innocent scenario. When they were already placed in the scene by the investigators, according to the innocent scenario, the investigators already did all the work for him.
OK - I see where you're coming from: You rob a liquor store, and the police are after you and arrest you. Only you find that they also believe 2 men were in on it with you, and in fact did most of it - you were just an accomplice. You can't believe your good luck, and say, "yeah, I was just going along with them."

So why didn't Guede do this?

If the 2 are innocent, he would still have been likely to have used them. If guilty, why not? The only thing I can think of is, he maintains he had a date and did nothing wrong at all.(just like you might say you were only in the liquor store to shop---you had NOTHING to do with it.)

But the problem with that is, that he didn't really wait in the loo while they had an argument and killed Meredith. That is a lie, and the problem is - that two other people know it's a lie. And if he had said that, they would have turned around and exposed his lies.
bbm - in order to do this, they would have to admit they themselves were there, and guilty. Which they have never done.

Meh. Maybe Rudy's just amusing himself at the prosecutor's expense, teasing them but not giving them what he must know they want; or he's not smart enough to put together a convincing story based on the information in the press.

I think he is quite intelligent. Maybe he has some idea of not making enemies in the future. I really don't know. He is an enigma.

rom things I've read, not sure I can find them again, it appears that G may have people that believe his story. It sounded as if he has visitors.

Coming from that perspective, if he were to blame AK and rS he would be potentially opening himself up to conspiracy.

Why would he do that if he has friends that feel for his story? They must feel it's plausible so rG would be wise to stick with it.

I've never been questioned by cops before but I would imagine if you give an inkling that you have additional information they would prolong their questioning and try to trip you up. Why go there? Easier to play dumb and live with what you have to confess to.

No, that thing does not look like a lamp. So where is Amanda's lamp?

Maybe it is knocked over on its side. I found this photo:

Thanks for that.

Yes, it looks like it tipped on its side, and the square is the base, and then you can see the neck and the shade further to the right front section of the photo.

I think that is definitely Amanda's lamp.

thanks for finding that! :)

Yes that is Amanda's lamp turned over behind Meredith's door.

So the lamp part is under the bed, and the base is behind the door?

Yes, the base is the square part over to the left, behind the door - and then to the right and front we see the neck and the shade, under the bed.

By the way, does anyone know the source/origin of the information that Amanda Knox's journal had pages from October 2007 ripped out?

They maintain they were not there at all, so how can they expose anything without admitting they were there with him?

Whatever it is it's not courtroom testimony.

OK. I didn't know if it was or not. Just wondering if it was fact or rumor. Thanks.

Well, I meant if Rudy was sitting there in the bathroom, Filomena's room door closed or no lights on (I doubt he would have fumbled for a light in Fs room ). He is on the toilet and he hears, "Hi, anyone home?". I don't have the cottage layout very clearly in my mind. I picture her at one end of the cottage coming in, him at the other in the bath.

The large bathroom, assigned to Laura and Filomina, is off the kitchen, so if Meredith came in and Guede was in the bathroom, there would have been a light on in that laundry/bathroom area that would have been easily visible from the kitchen/entrance. Since Filomina and Laura were away, and Knox was assigned to the small bathroom, Meredith would have immediately wondered who would be using the large bathroom.

I doubt that Meredith would have ignored someone in the large bathroom, and she might even have looked into Laura and Filomina's bedroom to see if either of them were home ... since both were expected to be away that night.

What I'm saying is that if Guede was in the cottage listening to music when she returned home, there should have been red flags all over the place before she went to her room to settle in for the evening.

It looks like it's one of those things that only shows up in "comments" sections.
