The identity of the man who was found dead on the street in Amstelveen two weeks ago is still unknown. The police rule out a crime, but are eager to identify his next of kin to inform them of his passing. For this reason, we are now sharing recognizable photos of the man. Do you recognize this man? He is estimated to be around 50 years old. He was found wearing jeans and a white T-shirt. Oddly, he was not wearing any shoes. He has a light skin tone and short trimmed black hair. He may be of Eastern European descent. The man also has two distinctive tattoos: a colored tattoo of a cannabis plant on his right upper thigh and an image of a landscape on his left ankle.
In the early morning of Friday, August 15, local residents found him lying on the ground in an alley near the ‘Straat van Makassar’ in Amstelveen. Investigation pointed out that the man died of natural causes. As his identity remains unknown, the police launched an investigation to find out his identity. Among other efforts, an extensive neighborhood inquiry was carried out. Unfortunately, this — like the tips received after a previous appeal — has not yet led to his identification yet.
