Regardless of when she knew, I still think she had to fear that he would find a way to take her children from her if she left.
Cops are professionals when it comes to being believable on a witness stand. They appear in court almost evey time a person they've arrested goes to court. A lying cop can be very intimidating to a young woman who he wants to paint as unstable. First, he abuses her mentally as well as physically, never gets in trouble for it, and when she finally goes to the doc to be treated for the depression and anxitey resulting from his abuse, he claims she is "losing it"!

I don't think Drew told Stacy until July/August. She may have suspected it all along, but I believe he was angry and said this during one of their fights when she told him she wanted things to change (as per her email to Steve, the friend of her sister Tina).

Stacy was already married to DP at the time of KS's death. Everyone said KS's death was accidental, and then the coroner's jury ruled it was accidental, so Stacy had no reason to believe otherwise. I think there was a major argument at some point in recent months and it was then that DP told her that he had killed KS. He probably threatened Stacy with this, saying he could kill her too.

It would be quite a bombshell to hear your spouse was a killer who had gotten away with murder. I can see why she might be scared.

As Laci's demise was getting pregnant and not losing Conner before becoming almost full term, poor Stacy's demise was learning of KS's being murdered and saying she wanted a divorce... IMO.

IMO DrewP would not be willing to end things by taking his life, the only important thing to him is him. I would not be surprised if he tried to flee however.

I agree with you totally. VB and I've stated as much. He is too self-involved to committ suicide, but, I do worry about the children. I honestly can see him doing something to them just so Casandra and family doesn't get them.

I wonder what will happen to the older 2 since Stacy adopted them? I wonder if Stacy's family will be given visitation with them or even custody? I wonder who will get custody of Stacy's 2 children when DP goes to prison?

I think that there is evidence now and that drew peterson should be held under police custody until there is more evidence that is not all leading to him being the prime suspect. I HOPE that there will be an arrest for both Stacy and Kathleen. I also hope there will be more evidence from the searches done on his vehicles and home and from relatives, friends and strangers that have been helpful in offering key information.

It's only a matter of time before Drew is arrested for one or both of the crimes against his last two prior wives. Of course, some crazy woman will want to hook up with him in or out of jail.

I have the feeling that LE is going to build enough evidence to arrest and hold DP for one crime, while continuing to investigate other crimes. I think the focus is finding Stacy, and LE would really like to be able to arrest him for that crime, but, in the absence of a body, they might hold off and arrest him for the murder of Kathleen if they feel they've got enough evidence in that case to hold him as prime suspect.

The Bolingbrook police chief, McGury, sent information the to prosecutor for criminal charges relating to DP's time on the police dept. Depending on the charges, there might be enough evidence to arrest and hold him on those charges.
