Analysis of Casey's Clothes and Body Language

IMO, the jury will not be swayed by what Casey is wearing when they see and hear the evidence against her!

I have faith that the jury will do the right thing. I have seen defendants in court look so sweet and demure that butter would not melt in their mouth. Then bam! The evidence convicts them.

All in all, I was not impressed with what Casey was wearing today. I would feel the same way had she been wearing her jail blues. IMO, Casey was wearing civillian clothing today because the hearing would be televised and maybe a prospective juror would be watching.

I agree the evidence will speak loud and clear IMO

ya know.....I also took notice of her eyesbrows today and how it appeared that she became one with the tweezers....

I dont know that youre allowed tweezers in the pokie, but if she has a pair...she did some major tweezing.

More than likely it was done with a razor, IMO.

CA did not dress her I believe it was Mrs.B

naw, silly....on another thread, it says that channel 9 asked JB if he knew about the "bracelet"..he says he picked those clothes up from CA on Wednesday.

But anyway, Im gonna go hunting for the answers about the suit jacket on another thread........being that the poster who described the pin striped jacket, is being questioned about really being there.

Sorry for being O/T.

LOL @ "becoming one with the tweezers" hahah-- she definitely did!

You can fool some of the people all of the time...all of the people, some of the time, but NEVER...ALL of the people ALL of the time. Don't know what famous person said it, but my Dad (bless his soul) used to say it quite often, LOL :)

I think it was Abraham Lincoln?

This thread was freaking me out for a second there!-- thank goodness for tweezer humor and the wise words of our (fore)fathers :)

I agree with you 100%. When I see casey, I just see evil, no matter what she is wearing or not wearing.

If thats true that JB picked up the clothes from CA he had 2 days to check them out. It would have been a good idea since he was the one taking the clothes into a jail.CA must feel KC is guilty IMO because if she thought she was innocent I think she would have given her a better outfit to wear.JMO

As a parent, I have learned to watch for the little lies that kids tell, and even when they tell it so well, its their composure, their facial expressions, and usually that big swallow they take right after that lie spills that busts them..
Casey could show up in court in an Army uniform with tons of medals, and still her lies would soak right on through those jurors.
It does not matter how they dress her up, she will do herself in.

I just deleted 40 offtopic posts and counting. this subject is dead.
Oh and guys, do not discuss other posters in here. Besides..everyone is talking about YOU in that------>thread.

Bolded by me.
Your exactly right, "You can fool some of the people some of the time and all of the people some of the time, but you can't fool all of the people all of the time." ~Abraham Lincoln~ :)

ITA and the 31 days

My Opinion, much to the chagrin of the Moderators, is, How she acts, & what she wears is crucial to what WE think, & what a POTENTIAL( grrrr I hate that word) jury thinks??
why is that "much to the chagrin" of the moderators?

I think at one time the appearance of the client used to make a difference to the jury. But it is such an old trick now that it is almost useless. Besides I do think JB went over the line this time. The suit might have been fine. But the bun??? My first thought when I saw that was where are the librarian glasses to go with it? She is too young to get by with that look. A less severe suit, a nice pants set, even a modest dress (drop the bun)- anything like that would show respect for the court without making her look so phony.

I too believe that if she dresses like this in front of a jury, the jury is going to look at the pics of what she was doing during the 31 days that her daughter was missing (if they can get them in) and didn't report it, then they are going to look at KC and they will feel like they are being scammed. I think it would make the jury trust the defense less.

However, today wasn't in front of a jury. And I think this may have been just a preview for the "proper KC look". JB has noted that attention is being paid to KC's outfits and I think that since the judge is making KC show up in court, JB might take this time to try out several "KC looks" before they get to trial. He can then read the media and see how the public responds to each outfit. And I don't think we will see this look again.

Uh Oh! Because we are instructed not to talk of her appearance, etc., which I respectfully disagree, as it is indicative of the usual sham of a Defense strategy, & should be duly noted, in order to keep our eye on the REAL victim here, Caylee.

ITA, especially after the Baez team hears how well it wasn't received. I definitely think her hair will definitely be down next time and probably a blouse/shirt instead.
