I hear you, search is difficult here! Was just about to PM you that I hope I’m not discouraging you from posting your finds! There’s plenty of UIDs still not posted here. I just happened to know this one (and the previous one) were here. :)

@Kamiko123132 just a couple of tips when searching for a UID try searching by their NamUs number, but without UP. Like for this case, you can search for 2344 instead of UP2344. Some threads don't have the Doe's NamUs case number mentioned in the thread and won't show up in a search, but this way it will find their NamUs link which I think is always present and doesn't include the "UP".

Another thing you can try is filtering the UID cases on WS by state. Some states have dozens or hundreds of threads, but some just a few which can be easily scrolled to check if the case already has a thread.

HTH.

P.S. I appreciate you starting threads, as @cenazoic said so many UID that are not on WS yet and could really use some exposure. Keep 'em coming.

I’ve been curious on this case for quite a good while now and it’s apart of why I had gotten interested in unidentified persons cases

Identified as Jimmy Dollison.
When he went missing, Jimmy Dollison had been living in Kansas City, Kansas. He disappeared sometime in October or November of 1972, when he was 16 years old. According to family members, he was reported missing by his parents, but the family never learned what happened to Jimmy.

May he rest in peace.

Thank you so much for posting this! I'm glad he finally has his name.

Interesting that, according to the article, Jimmy "disappeared sometime in October or November of 1972" and yet when his remains were found, the estimated PMI was 2-4 weeks prior, i.e., sometime in late March. Where was Jimmy for those intervening 4-5 months? Or could decomposition have thrown off the PMI?

As an aside, Jimmy appeared to have such a friendly, caring and humble face. May he rest in peace.
