Circumstances of Discovery
A landowner discovered the victim's remains in a small stream in a wooded area 180 feet from 1550 Road, three miles southeast of Garnett in rural Anderson County. The decedent's death was ruled a homicide but it's unknown if he was killed at the place he was found or left there later.Authorities believe the victim may have been a hitchhiker.
