I actually think it is because the United States' adoption rules make it easier for birth mom's to change their minds and try to get their children back. My cousin had her heart broken several times trying to adopt a child in the U.S. After waiting a couple of years she was able to adopt her beautiful daughter from China.

I personally love these two and their children. I love all she does for the less fortunate all over the world. More celebs should be like her and Brad and donate not just their money but time to help those in need. I think she was wild when younger but matured and seen the world differently when she addopted Mad. If you haven't seen the movie Beyond Borders with her in, you should check it out, that movied changed her life. It inspired me to want to do missionary work and hope to one day be able to do what she does and also adopt some children who really need a good home. People need to get over the fact that Brad left Jen for her. Jen is over so why is everyone else still crying about it.

I doubt it. We adopt where our hearts lead us. My best friend adopted outside of the USA because that's where she felt drawn. Fashionable had nothing to do with her decision.

Adopting any child anywhere is such a laudable thing that I can't understand people finding something wrong with where you chose to adopt a child that no one else wants. Who cares - there's one less parentless child in the world after you adopt!

I agree. Plus, Brad wanted lots of children. I'm assuming that Jen did not. I think that Jen will find her perfect mate in due time. I must admit that, from outer appearances, it really seems like Brad and Angelina are much better suited for one another. I wish nothing but happiness for their family.

Well, a couple years ago I thought Angelina would just "use him up and throw him out"; but it didn't happen - she seems ALOT more settled than she used to be.

I don't think his efforts to build homes in New Orleans should be devalued - I don't think he's just blowing his horn - he seems to be truly interested (he likes architecture) and dedicated to the program there.

People who give back a chunk of their money to society I can't find fault with.

I think its more because its easier to adopt outside of the USA then it is here. In the USA you are put on a waiting list, you have to go thru so much red tape just to adopt, that not only are the celebrities going overseas to adopt but so are thousands of every day Americans.
And alot of people are turned down, that could give some of these kids a great home but they get turned down for being single, or they are in their 40's so they are considered too old etc.....
If I wanted anymore kids, 9 months is all I should have to wait if I was adopting....

Actually it's much harder to adopt a child from another country. There is much more red tape involved when adopting internationally rather than domestically.

Nope, mine doesn't either. He thinks she's a freak and says Brad is crazy for leaving Jen for a psycho like her. I think her "psycho" tendancies have cooled alot and I wonder if they were really just for shock value to begin with.
