I cannot find the article now, but i've read there is bidding war between OK Magazine and People Magazine for the photographic rights to the first exclusive pictures of the new babies which has now reached $15m. it's said the couple will donate all the money to charity.

and why not? :)

What better way to get a rag tabloid piece of trash to donate MILLIONS to charities??? I think its a wonderful practice that a lot of celebrities are taking up. I hope they get tons and tons of money for the pictures of what are bound to be just beautiful little girls!!!!

What a great article. I teared up when she said that she picked her mom up from the Morgue and she just thought "I am picking up my best girlfriend and she is not in pain anymore" How sad!

Thanks for the great link - add me as one who loves her!

I know!!!! My family uses humor to try and deal with pain, sometimes to our detriment. After my father passed away, his then wife told us that we should take my father's ashes and put them with my mother's ashes because she said that my father never got over my mother and she knew that. First of all, I thought it was a first class thing for her to do, but the airplane ride home was too much. My sister and I had his ashes and one honestly doesn't think about how their gonna get them home. You can't check them!!!! We carried the ashes on and my sister, who was sitting in the aisle seat put them under the seat in front of her. Well of course when the plane took off, everything started sliding towards the back of the plane!!! I immediately started cracking up because all I could say was "there goes dad, grab him." I mean is that horrible or what? You should have seen the look on the faces of the people sitting around us.:blushing::blushing::blushing::silenced::silenced:

Angelina Jolie gave an interview to Vanity Fair which will be in their July issue. I like Angeline and Brad so I enjoyed reading the excerpts. There are some nice pictures too. If you don't like Angelina, you probably won't enjoy the read. :)

Excerpts:

A Woman in Full (There are 5 pages)

Thanks Jean!

I think she is a fascinating and complex woman. And Rich Cohen is a great writer.

Jeana - That's how my family is; and I think what you said was funny! I would have said the same thing. I actually included humor in the speech I gave at my father's funeral. My father was a character; and I included some of the antics that he pulled throughout the years. There definitely is nothing wrong with what you did. You have my seal of approval! :)

Sometimes I think you and I were separated at birth!!! My father would have gotten the biggest laugh out of it. The fact that it was only a few weeks from the time my mother passed away, we were all just exhausted, sad and in a fog. To be honest, if we couldn't laugh at the stupid things by that point, we were gonna lose it.

LOL, That is funny. Alot of people deal with sadness like that, my father for one is the BIGGEST jokester of all. It does not matter if we are at a funeral or not, he has everyone in stitches, I have never seen my dad cry because he deals with things like that as well. The Bible says that Laughter is like a good medicine.:)

I dont think that is horrible at all- sounds just like me and my sister- we were all cracking jokes at my dads burial-
I also think the act was extremely classy from the wife too- how sweet she even admitted it to you

When my brother died at Christmastime in a freak accident we were all saying, "This is just like him! He just can't do anything ordinary! If he wasn't dead, we would kill him!" Honestly it's the only way we could get through it. At one point I said, "He is laughing so hard up there to think he was felled by a nightstand after all he's been through in his life!"

I think it's part of life and grief. Humor, that is. It is healthy.

When we were planning my mother's funeral, someone asked about music. One of my sister's said we should play "Wind Beneath My Wings" by Bette Midler. My little sister actually said completely seriously "Do you think Bette would come to the funeral for real????":confused: WTH??? We all started busting up, including the funeral director, pastor and all of my mother's sisters who flew in. What a dork, hey? LOL It was totally the perfect time for such stupidity.
