In this case, its not for convenience. If she goes over her due date, they'll induce. She's trying to not have a c-section and if the baby gets too big . . . you know the rest. ;) ;)
Sounds exactly like convenience to me!

She doesn't want the scar from the c-section to ruin her tattoos on her belly. :D Much better to induce her... ;)

I have to say - that once I get close to my due date and the little bugger has not shown up - I have no problem with being induced !! Bring it on!!!

We just went through this with my daughter. The baby got to big and she ended up having a C-section after 3 days of labor. Its not always better to let baby's cook. Expecially first baby's. My daughter now has a 10 inch C-section scar. Her post natal recovery was horrendous. Evan is now 2 months old and she still has pain.

The Doctor should have induced 2 weeks sooner.

If it's medically indicated I am on board. No doubt. Benefits outweigh the risks.
At this point doesn't sound medically indicated, IMO. But of course I don't have any oi the medical background. On the news they said she wanted to have while her brother ( or other relative)was in town so they were considering induction for that reason.
I have seen lots of women and doctors induce early for everyones conveneince and the baby oten times pays the price. Often times there are no complications whatsoever. but, it's just a matter of weighing risks vs benefits. Sometimes it's a good idea sometimes it's a really bad idea.

:D :D :D I think she should just stay pregnant. She's way to pretty and this may help offset that a little bit. ;)

No doubt! I hear that her hormones are going nuts though. So she's a skinny, pregnant, mad woman. Unfortunately, I still don't think this will be enough to drive Brad into the arms of . . . me. :D

I saw an interview with her not long ago and she said all she does is laugh - uncontrollably. :D At least she'd be fun to be around! Better than someone bitchin' all the time! :D

I think it can be good to induce if it goes very far past the due date. My niece was 3 weeks overdue on her first baby. They told her it was no big deal. They had measured and determined that the baby would be 8 lbs. Well, when she finally went into labor 3 weeks late, she was not able to deliver and the baby went into stress and they had to do an emergency c-section. The baby weighed 12 lbs at birth!! The Dr's measurements were wrong and he said if he had known the baby was getting that large he would have induced weeks earlier.

I thought they sold the rights to the first pictures to someone and then they are donating the money somewhere? Can't remember where I read that, but I did somewhere. I'll see if I can find it again.
