Anne Marie Hochhalter

The investigation into how she died has been transferred to the office that conducted the post-mortem examinations of those killed at Columbine, the coroner’s office for Adams and Broomfield counties said.

Ms Hochhalter in 2016 wrote a letter to one of the gunmen’s mothers saying, “Bitterness is like swallowing a poison pill”, and offering her forgiveness.

Not the first time a mass-shooting victim died years after the fact. A man who was shot in the back in the 1966 Austin massacre died in 1999; the bullet destroyed what surgeons discovered was his only kidney, and he lived the rest of his life on dialysis, except for a brief period where he had a transplant, which he rejected, and he didn't want to go through that again.

The 9-11 rescuers who died of cancer are considered casualties...
I not long ago read the Dylan Klebold book (his mother's). It was really sad. I think he was suicidal and depressed and got involved with someone whose rocks fit the holes in his head. It was just like any toxic relationship like Killer Couples or Gabbi Petito or whomever. Very sad...but I cannot for the life of me figure out how no one knew they had an entire freaking ARSENAL of weapons and no one knew!
That's America....

So are non-first responders who were lived or worked in the area, and were exposed to the dust. Reporter Harold Dow was one of them. Not all of them got cancer, but many of them had other toxic-exposure diseases.

Eric Harris' journal, found on his computer after his death, had something in it that made me very grateful that he took himself off the planet, although I wish he hadn't taken so many other people with him. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about; I won't post it here but I will share it with anyone who PMs me.

My guess it was the racist garbage he posted, but you can send it to me via DM.
He was clearly a psychopath and his parents were clueless.

The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office released a copy of her autopsy report on Wednesday.

The report stated that two gunshot wounds Hochhalter suffered in 1999, resulting in her use of a wheelchair in the 25 years since, likely turned into further issues and led to her death. The report said that Hochhalter died of “sepsis due to Streptococcus pyogenes.”

“Complications of paraplegia due to two remote gunshot wounds are a significant contributing factor,” the report stated. “The manner of death is best classified as homicide.”
