Hi! I hope this is the right place to post. I just joined after lurking for a while. I found this forum after following the Golden State Killer arrest, and I find myself drawn to cold case research threads here.

Are there any interesting criminal cases in Southern California that have seen recent developments? I'd like to look deeper into a case or two in my area. I guess they don't have to be cold cases. It seems there are a lot in or near Los Angeles, and that makes it hard to choose. I want to see if I can help bring closure to a local victim's family. I tend to get a little obsessed when I find something that really interests me. Any kindred spirits?
