April was last seen on November 18, 2006. She told her mother she was going to a local church to look at some clothes they were giving away. She never returned and has never been heard from again. She was last seen getting into an older model brown pickup truck. Her mother reported her missing that evening.
April was originally thought to be the possible victim of an abduction, but authorities now think she may have left of her own accord. Prior to her disappearance, she had problems with being bullied at school, and she was worried about being a financial burden to her family. She may still be in the local area.
