Fulton County, Ark. investigators solve deaths of mother, child from 2002

The Fulton County, Ark. Sheriff’s Office solved a 19-year death investigation of a mother and her son in Alton.

Investigators say Angela Mack and Mickey Rettew, 4, were killed in 2002. Family had reported them missing.

Investigators accuse Clarence Krusen of the deaths.

The FBI recently interview Krusen’s wife. She says Clarence Krusen admitted to killing the two. FBI agents say Mrs. Krusen said Clarence burned their bodies in a furnace at the family home in Alton. She told investigators she did not come forward because she feared for her life.

"Police in Missouri have solved a 20-year-old cold case after a woman told officers her husband had murdered both victims and burned their bodies.

Barbara Krusen told the FBI her late husband Clarence Krusen had killed Angela Mack Cox and her four-year-old son Thomas Michael Rettew (Mikey) and disposed of their bodies in a furnace attached to their farmhouse.

She told authorities she had not come forward with the shocking information before because she feared for her life.

The grisly murders are believed to have taken place at the Krusen's farm in Alton, Missouri, in December 2002."

So she feared for her life apparently but the husband had been dead for 8/9 years by the time she finally told the truth and only after originally lying on the polygraph.

Surely she should be charged with something?

Ridiculous.
