I don't know, I was shocked that she would make up something like that... I even sent an email to Jane Velez's show about it.... it was ridiculous and it happens all of the time in the media.

I watched part of JV's show last nite and it was disgusting. So much false information, mis-information, and out and out sexism against men. While I strongly believe in womens's rights and violence against women in America is a problem (I am a victim) i thought one of her guests in particular was wayyyyyyyyyyyy out of line. But then that is par for the course for both this show and Nancy Grace. The last time I saw the AP story on NG she made statements that were totally and absolutely false.

That is so true. NG stated that Vance's DNA was in the LE data base and if LE had processed the Marietta rape DNA faster, they would have had Vance's name and Anne would be alive today. That is dead wrong and is shoddy "reporting". Even if that case had been processed faster, with Anne's assault, it would have just meant two matches to an "unknown" person, since Vance wasn't swabbed until after BOTH attacks.

I know it's slightly off topic but we are tlaking about NG. I cannot stand her or her brand of reporting. She's also the rudest person I have ever encountered on TV. The gag order wasn't issued until after Jermaine Taylor's name was brought up. It's also possible that Vance told the police that he was paid to just beat up Anne, paid by Jermaine Taylor, but because of the gag order no one can say anything, no one like the FBI, Arkansas Crime Lab, etc. Anne was such a sweet person and very funny, she definitely did not deserve this. I went to her funeral, her family are nice, faith oriented people.

Yes, there is a lot of scuttlebutt about that on the internet. They are keeping this case very close to their chest.

Im not big on rumors, BUT, the JT rumor seems so lame. IF Anne and JT had something going, it would be easier for JT to get close to her and beat her up (he is, after all a boxer) rather than hire some low life rapist from 100 miles away with no known prior violent criminal history. Plus the rumors purport either Anne was a man and JT got pissed or Anne was pregnant and JT got pissed... so they are playing both sides of the field.

While people do have affairs, pregnancies, etc. it SEEMS from everything said about Anne by her friends, family, co workers, etc that she was probably not the kind of woman to get involved in such things. Alot of times when people pass away all kinds of skeletons fall out of closets, but in this case, I have seen nothing (aside from rumors) that Anne was not as she seemed.

Will just have to see what plays out in court.

Remember LE did state early on they did not forsee any future arrests. Murder for hire would be a serious crime and IF they had evidence to the contrary, they would have 1) not said they were not going to make further arrests or 2) would have made follow up arrests by now, after a month.

The fact that JT and Anne's parents were at an Xmas Karaoke together seems to me to dispell the rumors.

of course the rumors also say she was a guy, she was a virgin, she was pregnant, she was a lesbian... the whole gammut of possibilities. yet none jive with what is know about her character as testified to by her friends and family

What reliable sources do you speak of, exactly?

The hitman rumor seems ridiculous to me. Why would a hitman stalk out the victim's neighborhood several days before and even go to people's homes and ask them "Y'all need your gutters cleaned out?". Anyone paid to do a job like that would not hang out and make their face and car known to the neighbors. Also a "hitman" would not stalk women outside of a nearby gym and masturbate against the wall. Even if Vance were to blame the motive on someone else, his story would not hold any water.

He was casing out the Heights neighborhood as well as other nice neighborhoods in Little Rock- he admitted this much to LE in Little Rock.

This guy is a chronic thief who is sick sick sick with a twisted, disgusting nature.

By the way, all of the gag orders were requested by Vance's lawyers (he has two) because they felt the rumors were compromising Vance's right to a fair trial. In order to prevent the defense from requesting a change of venue (which was going to be their next request) Judge Munson approved the gag order requests from Vance's defense team.

It has nothing to do with Jermaine or Erica Taylor.

The only reliable info would come from LE. IMO.
I feel for this man, I feel this is an awful rumor that will shadow him forever.
Prior to this the only things I had heard about JT were all good.

I feel for her parents today, they seem so calm in interviews.
I hope they do not read the rumors, it would be salt in a wound.

I heard stuff about Jermaine's involvement on another Little Rock forum, Topix.net. After looking at the evidence and all of the information in Anne's case, I do not believe the rumors about Jermaine, and I feel sorry for him that these rumors are all around Arkansas. I used to work for Jermaine when he owned a sportsbar in North Little Rock on Main St., I was a hostess because I was 20 at the time and couldn't serve liquor, this was back in 2001. He is a nice guy.

As far as Curtis Vance, he is a psycho stalker and a rapist. He raped a teacher in Marianna, he didn't kill her because she did what he said and didn't fight him back. Anne fought back, so he ended up killing her. The only reason I thought Jermaine was involved is because this guy on topix.net, a Little Rock forum, said his brother's friend workshe public defender representing Vance and that Vance told him that he was paid by Jermaine to just beat up Anne, not kill her, to make her miscarry, but that it went too far and he ended up killing her because she fought back. This is not true, because Vance was acting alone, he's a pervert. He was watching Anne days before he attacked her, he's crazy.

That is what I am asking, this is the first I heard she even MOVED let alone SPOKE. The description was her face was completely broken, she was unconscious and unable to communicate. Now she had a small conversation and said she was in so much pain? It seems if she could do all that she could have also hinted who her attacker was. I don't buy it (the AMW woman I mean).

Can you post a link to the Today show, where Patti is saying Anne was reaching out to her?

In the 20/20 special her mother specifically said Anne only moved ONCE (briefly) and that was when she was in the hospital.

The way I remember hearing it was the mother walked into the bedroom and said, "Anne, Anne, who did this to you?" And I thought she said Anne never moved or said a word.

I have seen a couple interviews with Anne's mom and at no time did she mention Anne moving or speaking.

I honestly don't think she was in the position to do either after the stroke and savage beating.
