Amber Waterman's September TikTok video, with a white crib clearly visible in the background:

They shot her? Was that before or after they tried to take the unborn child?

They shot her?

Sounds like it. Shot her, <modsnip: assumption> baby wasn't breathing, they called EMTs, and EMTs could not revive baby

Horrifying. Ashley's last moments don't bear imagining. May justice be swift.

How on earth did they ever think they would be able to pull this off and get away with it? Mindless. A mother and baby murdered and other young children now left without their mother and sibling and lives irreparably changed forever. Beyond cruel.

oh dear god. i never cry about cases & this one has me in tears. i’ll always remember her fiancé saying they didn’t have much, all they had was their family.

What is the distance from her abduction point to where she was found?

It's on YT. You can slide it back to the beginning:

Horrific.
And tragically not the first crime of its type.
There are a number of them here.
I wish this awful type of murder could be studied further.
There must be some psychiatric phenomenon at play here to suggest to certain women that this brutal assault is the answer to whatever is happening in their life.
We have a name for the dx of mothers who inflict harm on their children in order to gain attention for their plight - Munchausens by proxy.
What in the world do these folks who kill mothers-to-be expect to gain from such a cruel violent act in taking a child. after murdering the poor defenseless mother? I know there is no rational answer. I am just so sad that this has happened as often as it has.
