Something odd to me and it might have already been addressed. To the REAs - wouldn't you at least have a name of the person you are showing the property to? Albeit it would probably have been a fake name in this case, but still...

First Time Poster: Is it possible that Beverly's abductor (if that's what happened) tricked her by asking her to show him another piece of real estate and said he would drive them there with the intention of abducting her. Would a realtor get into a car with a perspective client? Just wondering....
Thanks.
I'm not female so I'm prohibited from purchasing a hinky-meter so I'll just say I'm getting the vibe that this was not a stranger abduction.
This could mean that they contacted the listing agent, and she referred them to Beverly because she was unavailable to show it. She may not realize how lucky she is.
If this was referral, wouldn't we have more information from the referring agent regarding the prospective client? It seems that agent would come forward and say how the contact was made and perhaps be able to shed a little light on it.
Also, I understand she had two showings that evening and did not make it to the 2nd one. Are we to assume the 2nd showing was for the same client or was it a different appointment?

Sounds like the perp was trying to buy time by texting, pretending to be her. If she had simply gone out for drinks, why wait until after midnight to text? I'm not buying it.
I hope they know where the phone pinged when the text was sent.

Really really close. If there were screams and those neighbors were home, they would have been heard. Seems a bit risky from that aspect. It makes me believe she was incapacitated before being abducted.I agree.

Those bushes are huge, wise choice for someone planning an abduction at an empty home.
ETA: although that's quite the peep view from the home right next door. Really close.
Realtor question- why would you refer a cash sale?
