With SO MANY working on this in such a short initial time frame, I feel we are going to see a ton of subpoena filed. 7 work days from today, before hearing Monday Oct 5. I bet there will be a flurry of various filings. JMHO

'Bev Score' app created to increase realtor safety
Dan Grossman, THV1 11:27 p.m. CDT September 24, 2015

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - A new app developed in the memory of murdered real estate agent Beverley Carter could transform the way we interact with each other.

The app is called Bev Score, and it is set to release next week. It acts almost like a personality credit score. It was created by Little Rock native and family friend Josh Stramiello, who dropped out of college to pursue it.

In a nutshell, the app uses GPS technology to verify you are who you say you are. The app will randomly “ping” people who have it, taking into account all of the people’s most frequently visited places. It then aggregates the information and cross-references it with the person’s profile. All of it building up into a Bev Score that shows the person’s ‘legitimacy.’

Tomorrow marks the one-year anniversary since Carter's murder, and the family hopes this app will help keep her memory alive.

“You know nothing's going to bring back my mom,” said Carter’s son Chad. “It's a very difficult time. Especially since we're at the one year mark.”

I have read it but never from "source" what time the actual appointment was suppose to be at. 6 p.m. ..So this is a new piece of info.

SEP 25 Remembering Beverly: 1 Year https://www.facebook.com/events/503602729802684/

Crye-Leike Realtors, 3400 J.F.K. Blvd, North Little Rock, AR 72116
It's hard to believe that a year has passed since Beverly was taken from us. If you're free, please join us at Crye-Leike Realtors for a Balloon Release at 5pm.

Immediately following, we'll gather inside to share memories of Beverly, toast her favorite beverage (Promised Land Chocolate Milk), and have a moment of silence at 6pm (the time of her appointment with the accused on this date last year). Beverly touched so many lives, and we'd truly love to see and/or hear from you at this event.

Wear your "Beverly" shirt! We'll have some onsite, if you'd like to purchase one! Proceeds from sales will benefit the landscaping project for the to-be-installed Beverly Carter Memorial Bench at Two Rivers Park.

God bless you, friends!

Honoring Beverly Carter By Putting Safety First

DAILY REAL ESTATE NEWS | FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 25, 2015
It's been one year since Beverly Carter was found murdered after showing a supposed prospective buyer a vacant bank-owned property in rural Scott, Ark. To honor her memory, a friend of the Carter family, Josh Stramiello, is releasing an app next week called BEVscore that seeks to keep people safe when meeting strangers.

The Carter family met with Stramiello in July and have a 10 percent equity in the safety app. They're also donating 10 percent of its profits to a memorial fund set up in Carter's honor. "You know nothing's going to bring back my mom," says Carter's son Chad. "It's a very difficult time. Especially since we're at the one year mark. I'm hoping for a safer and better world, I never could've dreamt that something so great could've came into our laps."

Lowery appeared in court Tuesday in a dark blue prison uniform. She answered questions from Pulaski County Circuit Court Judge Herbert Wright with barely audible, "Yes, sir," and, "No, sir," responses.

Chief Deputy Prosecuting Attorney John Johnson said the charge was reduced after Lowery agreed to provide "truthful testimony" against her husband.

"It's always good when you have someone who is a participant in the crime who can help provide additional information and perspective for the jury," Johnson said.

He said Carter's family had been kept informed throughout the process and supported the plea agreement. The family was previously cited as part of the reason prosecutors chose not to seek the death penalty in the capital murder charges.

Carter's family, friends and co-workers filled three rows of courtroom benches Tuesday. They hugged each other in the courthouse lobby, some wiping away tears after the hearing. Carter's family declined to comment to reporters on the plea.

At the hearing Tuesday, Johnson said after examination of phone records, it was "apparent" that Lowery "participated in the plan and kidnapping of Ms. Beverly Carter, which resulted in her death."

Johnson said the state's case against Lewis is "strong," but declined to elaborate. He said no plea agreement has been offered or asked for by Lewis. http://bigstory.ap.org/article/eeb5...nsas-woman-takes-plea-deal-slain-realtor-case

 3/9/2015 ... prior to his June 1 hearing speaking of 4 videos or CL July 7 guilty plea

Lewis, appearing in court last week, told the Pulaski County Circuit judge that "I want to terminate my lawyer" and that he wished to represent himself in the capital-murder trial. The judge questioned Lewis, who will await trial in prison, on how he would be able to adequately prepare his defense. But Lewis remained adamant that he intends to defend himself. He also claimed to have evidence to exonerate Lowery.

Snip....In addition, Chantelle Taylor, an employee with the crime lab’s trace evidence section,
testified at trial that the hair fragment could not be tested for DNA due to its length and lack of tissue
containing genetic material. This testimony negates both of appellant’s contentions that counsel was
ineffective for failing to seek DNA testing of the hair fragment and that the prosecutor engaged in
misconduct by hiding the existence of the hair fragment.https://cases.justia.com/arkansas/supreme-court/cr07-727.pdf
