Curious there is no objection to dredging up any marital difficulties in the Carter family, as in how relevant is that to the murder? Even if she had the worst marriage in the world....how does that get you a face full of green duct tape and a shallow grave.

Maybe prosecution is allowing that so Carl Jr can testify differently? The ol' say it ain't so theory? I'll prove you wrong?

We are on witness testimony now, opening statements are over but no - I've never seen anyone object to opening statements, they are only opinions before evidence is introduced. The marital issues were discussed during the witness testimony
