What this article says to me is a few things.

1) Beverly put up a fight and scratched this guy up.

2) With this time line, the actual abduction and ???? must have happened pretty quickly. It wouldn't have dragged out for hours and hours.

3) She must be fairly close by, somewhere, just working from the sightings of him and the timeline.

So his vehicle was covered in mud, and it would've been enough for his truck to get stuck in it. I hope that info can help the searchers to narrow down maybe possible locations. I haven't looked at the weather, was there any rain recently? If not are there many swamps or muddy areas?

An older truck may not be a 4WD? If we knew, it would likely narrow down locations even more.
Is that part of Arkansas wet and muddy, are there swamp areas? Sorry, I have no idea what the terrain is around Scott.

i recall an article from this morning and the title stated he went hunting after she went missing. I was not impressed that the actual content of the article mentioned nothing about this hunting trip. I do not know if it was supposedly fri as thurs night would have been dark for hunting

I believe the headline was misleading...

It said something like..."Suspect in Missing Real Estate Agent Case Hunted After Fleeing Hospital"...

To be more clear... The Headline could/should have said...

"Suspect in Missing Real Estate Agent IS BEING HUNTED After Fleeing Hospital"...

He did not do any hunting... He was being hunted by LE...

The only reason I think she is pretty close is because he's not the type of person that would comprehend anything else. He seems like he has a short term memory although his age says otherwise. Maybe ADHD or something along those lines. He drinks Red Bull I noticed by some of his motorcycle pictures.

This article just does not add up. He did not even meet up with Beverly until after 5:30 PM, so how did he get mud on his car earlier in the afternoon and then have scratches on his face while he washed his car just a few hours later. I'm confused.

I was wondering this, too...

I wonder what time he was washing his truck... With cuts on his face... So I imagine it was after he had abducted BC by then...

I think what is confusing about it is that she states, "I saw him washing his car off later in the day". They don't bother to say whether it was after dark or not, but it would almost had to have been.

Also, don't forget about the husband receiving texts after midnight a few hours later. I think he was trying to toy with and confuse her husband, but he is such a dumb criminal, who really knows what his thought process was ?

She could have. Or she could be a very unreliable witness.

Sadly, I don't think this will end well for Beverly and her family . If she were still alive, I think he'd be talking to at least avoid a murder charge .

Let me tell you, unless the parole officer is actually in the loo while one is "creating" the sample & watching very closely, there's various methods to seemingly produce a clean urine sample. A hair analysis is much more accurate but cost prohibitive.

And a parole officer isn't going to admit he got lax on testing regularly. MOO

Well NG doesnt seem to know yet there has been an arrest so this must have been filmed much earlier. But the son did say a couple of thing so far we didnt know. That the dad called him first because he was worried and son thought well maybe she is writing up an offer. But later he got worried because Bev and her husband usually are in bed by 9-9:30. They knew she would have called. Also there was no power in the house so thats why she went at 5:30. Thats it so far. If anything else I think we may not know Ill grit my teeth and watch until she is done with Bevs case.

They may end up having to make a deal with the Devil in this case that might upset all of us.

"Tell us where she is, if she is alive.....you get 5 years. If you don't tell us where she is, or if she is dead, 50 years with no parole."

Just in case she may still be alive and is being held somewhere, they may have to soften things up on him in order to find her.

It will make everyone furious, but it may be necessary to get her back in one piece.

Let them make that deal.... he'd still get his parole violated and get every bit of any suspended sentence he didn't serve already.. Also his booking photo (mug shot) showed him with hair so I'm not so sure it's not the angle of the camera in the face injury pic

Parole officer has to directly observe him. Not saying he didn't have other means of faking it. Parole in Arkansas isn't going to cover hair follicle unfortunately. They run the urine through the machine right at the office and the machine usually detects adulteration. I wish they would say how often he was tested because you don't have to each time.( likely would only see him once every 3 months)

My husband works in HR, and has 1400 employees under his watch (with 3 other HR managers). I've seen his drug tests, they gauge temperature of urine (to prevent carry ins and substitutes), and can test for 5-6 different drugs at once. It's pretty cool. He also has to watch the males.

In regards to drug tests...I tested our clients, usually parolee's/supervised probation/diversion/house arrest, they had to drop random UA's and they had to be supervised. As in there is nothing but you, the client, the specimen cup, paperwork, and toilet paper. For females they had to keep one hand visible at all times during the collection process and I'm pretty sure it was the same for males. They would receive call from the "color line" if their assigned color was given they had to come in and drop. If the person knows they have a set date with any officer of the court, they know there is the possibility they may have to drop a UA and they'll flush their system. Amphetamines leave the body within a fairly short time 24-48 hours. You wouldn't believe some of the things people would do to get out of being tested if they know they're dirty. As long as there is no reason for his parole officer to doubt his "good boy" act then more than likely he wasn't randomly testing and would have him drop while he came in for his normal monthly or quarterly check-in. Typically my experience is they have the person drop randomly from release up to 12 mo after release. All of that is based on my own experience with house arrest/criminal justice, it could be different in AR.
