I don't think this was about sex, he was all over the dating sites and craigslist - he could find a hook up, I think it was about money, a quick way to make a buck. Maybe rather than ransom - he was thinking reward money?

She was attractive, but much too old for him. There are hundreds of attractive female Realtors in Central Arkansas if he was looking to hook up (in his sick mind for rape). There just has to be some other connection for the reason he set this up with her. I am also wondering, still thinking there may have been a woman involved, if a woman set up the meeting. They said another name was used, not specified it was a woman. I could see a ransom plot gone bad. I just find it so odd that out of all the homes for sale and Realtors he chose her just to kill her for no financial gain, just a random killing. Something doesn't add up and I believe that detectives know a whole lot we haven't been told which I'm fine with. I want this guy put away forever and if someone else was involved they may be researching and building a case. Social media helped catch AL, but sometimes social media gets too much information out and makes it difficult to prosecute.

The CL ad was on the Memphis, TN CL site...approx 2 hours away. I suppose he could have posted that ad there and been willing to drive the 2 hours (or the ad could have been answered from anywhere...just wondering out loud why he would post that on a Memphis site and not the Little Rock one)

AL's stepdaughter and BC's granddaughter were part of the same gym in Sherwood they were on two different teams. I agree that "hurt feelings" in cheer had nothing to do with AL's motive. The gym is small maybe 50 to 75 kids so odds of them being around each other are high or maybe the two girls were friends. But from looking at IG and FB for AL before it was shut down he was at comps and BC's granddaughter had pics posted same comps same gym same year just a different team.

Yes, but Memphis is several hours away from Murfreesboro, and in a different section of TN. I wonder if he has relatives in Memphis?

I agree, I don't think there is any sexual component to it.

Sometimes guys just want to cast a very wide net, so that they could have sexual company. I don't think that, being presented with the opportunity, he would have chosen the 50 yo over a 20 yo, imo.
