My opinion of AL is very low so I prefer not to comment much on him. I did not try to get to know him because he gave me the creeps and I tried to steer CL away from him.

There is no 2012 Fusion that I ever saw. He must have already sold it before he was with CL.

The money everyone keeps talking about him paying cash for things once out of jail was not from crime. He sued the prison and received around $56,000.00 for mistreatment while serving time. This was how he first got CL interested. He showered her with gifts and paid bills for her. As a single mother she got blinded by his ability to care for her and her daughter. It was her worst mistake and one I'm sure she will regret for the rest of her life.
I can't imagine what must be going through all of your minds at this point. I mean this is something you read about and see on TV, but to know someone and see it firsthand, is not even something I can imagine. My heart truly breaks for her daughter. It seemed like they were close and regardless of anything that has happened she must be terrified, especially at her age. Heck I am 46 and I would be terrified at my age.

Perhaps if your ex-spouse & your child were living with a psycho (IMO) like AL, you might be more likely to boast about guns and your ability to use them? (To be clear, not talking about you personally.) I haven't looked at his Facebook so I can't say that has anything to do with it but I can imagine acting that way.

From what I have seen of TL he is a very caring father. I'm not sure about his gun obsession or posts. I have never looked at his FB posts and have only been around him a couple of times. What I saw of him was nothing but a caring father and he and CL still had a very good relationship for the most part, set aside the custody battle and his new wife being the reason CL was arrested for the theft by receiving. The new wife knew that CL was about to bring the daughter to TL to get her out of the middle of the AL mess so she called LE and said CL was about to leave Pulaski county. They arrested her to get a statement from her. CL was not leaving the county. She was coming right back after she dropped off the daughter. I think the new wife is a tad bit insecure of the relationship CL and TL still have due to their children.

nojustice, I mean no disrespect to you or your friend, but I cannot understand LE arresting her under the charges they did simply for whatever they found in her home. If she truly was in class that night, she could have been connected to something following the kidnapping, but she is charged with kidnapping and capital murder, just as AL is. They have to have evidence tying her to those charges, or she would have been charged as an accessory. IMO

Yes they are very close. The daughter is very upset so I have been told by other friends who have spoke to her. It is a very disturbing situation. We just do not believe CL is capable of any of this.

I understand how that would look to someone who does not know here or is not close to the situation. Did you happen to see the remarks from her attorney. I can't remember his exact words but it was on KATV 7. Try to find that video and watch it and maybe you will be enlightened by what he had to say about the difference between CL and AL. I know her. I can't explain it but I know she is not capable of any of this. There would be no reason for her to participate. Another friend knows for sure she was at school that evening. I can't speculate on LE or their motives. My guess was as I posted earlier they think she knows something and think by placing her in jail with no bond they will break her. I'm sure they have the best intentions to solve this case. They just don't have the right person. I do however respect your opinion @moonlit

It would be real easy to verify if she was in class that night.

I cannot find the interview with her attorney on katv... does anyone have the link?

First of all, I want to say that I appreciate you being here. This is the first case that ever bothered me enough to actually make a profile and start commenting. I don’t really know why, but for some reason, even knowing no one involved, it just really tugged at my heart and as with everyone I was hoping for a much better ending.

I am going to breakdown my response to you in a few posts. I just want you to know that I personally, am just discussing, so if I state I read this or that, it is not me saying “Oh you are a liar” or whatever ever. Just discussing in general.

Who knows there are some very good sleuthers on here and you may find out something that could even be beneficial. I am not, and will never be, one that wants vigilante justice in any cases. It does no one any good if the wrong people go to jail, as that means the guilty party is free.

CL is a good person and mother. She, like many single mothers, end up with the wrong men who trick them into thinking they are going to take care of them and pay their bills. They fall prey to a carrot dangled in front of them of a better lifestyle for them and their children. She is not perfect but nowhere close to a killer or kidnapper.

I also knew BC and she was a wonderful lady. I hate this for both families and my heart is broken. BC did not deserve what happened and neither did her family. It is tragic for all involved.

It must be equally hard on you that you know so many of the parties involved.

CL does NOT do drugs. She has passed drug screens both for nursing school and jobs and recently passed on during custody case.

Do you know if he did drugs. It seems like most of his prior conviction's are all thefts.

Yes it would @concernedmother. I know she was because another friend verified that for me. I'm sure the police have already verified her alibi for that evening. She was gone for most of that weekend because AL would not move out so she stayed with a friend. CL said when she got home that Thur night that AL was at home playing games on line looking normal. They ended up in a huge fight which has also been reported by the neighbors.

It was also my understanding from both CL and AL that they had a marriage on paper. She benefited from his ability to pay bills while she went back to school and he benefited by looking settled to his ex in an attempt to get visitation with his child.

So you don't fell that she was in love with him?

  • #811
nojusticenusa does CL have any idea why AL did this? Thats where I am really stuck is with a motive. I dont buy it was because she was a rich Realtor. Common sense says she wouldn't have shown up with much of value.

Yes it is very hard knowing both BC and CL.

CL told me he did not do drugs. The neighbors told me they think he recently did do drugs and had lost about 15 lbs in 3 weeks. I don't know if he did drugs or not but he had passed all his drug tests he is required to take. I did not like him and wanted no part of him. I was not around him enough to know and would never be around drugs myself. If he did drugs I think it would have been something recent but maybe I'm wrong. If he was using drugs then CL was either covering for him by telling her friends he did not do drugs or it was another thing she was blind about. Even after the murder and the posts I saw about him using drugs I confronted her and she denied he used drugs. The few times I was around him and it was brief as I've said he was not someone I wanted to be around, I did not however get the feeling he was using drugs. I could be 100% wrong on that though since I don't do drugs. I did find what he said in his jailhouse interview disturbing.

nojusticenusa Also, I understand there are things you will not want to answer, it is just some of my questions may overlap and if so I apologize.

She and AL were split up when this happened but he refused to move out. He had moved out briefly back in the summer and moved in with TM but she had recently let him back in the house when he became gainfully employed and tricked her again with false promises of support while she was in nursing school.

CL was not friends with TM. AL was the one that was friends with TM.

So he did actually know TM personally. I was never sure if that guy was just an online friend that he named or if he did actually know him. I am sure TM must regret ever knowing AL as well.

She was arrested for theft by receiving on the Monday before the body was found on Tuesday. I will not post what was the object of the theft by receiving so as not to jeopardize anything to do with the investigation. If you read the custody paperwork you will find the answer to this question. What her ex says in the custody paperwork is true on that subject. She had nothing to do BC disappearance or what they found in her house. What they found had to have been put there by AL. She had no idea it was there. I believe it led LE to him. The house was leased to CL not AL and she was living there before he moved in with her. She just married him in the Spring. the theft charge was a way for the police to question her. They told her that. She was told by police that the charge would be dropped and she did cooperate with them. It is a mystery why they charged her. We all believe it is to put pressure on her because she did not give them the answers they want. We do not believe she has those answers but the police for some reason think she knows something. She will not fare well in jail. She does not belong there.

The thing about his is, they would have never slapped a capital murder charge on her, just to get information. They could have never even gotten a warrant for that without “something” that makes her look very guilty. For that type of charge there has to be some proof that they have against her. Sadly, if she is innocent it may take years of her life to prove it.

No she passed her drug test and was about to get her daughter back. She had a false positive due to the meds she is on for her Fibromyalgia but went and took a hair follicle test the same day and it was negative for everything including PCP. I know this looks bad but there are such things as false positives, especially in pee tests. Hair folic tests are much more accurate. She was getting her daughter back until the arrest.

I didn't say that. It was a weird relationship. I think she wanted to be in love with him. He was not an easy person to love IMO. He cheated all the time.

Every part of me, and of all her other real friends, tell us this is not true about her. I was around her after the murder and she was just as surprised and shocked as the rest of us when things would come out in the news. There was a lot of information about AL that she never knew.

So when you saw that he was wanted in connection with this on that Monday that he was arrested, were you surprised? Or in the back of your mind did you think “oh this could be something he would do?”

She did not know he was a 7 time convicted felon when they married. She did however know he had been in some past trouble for some sort of scam on a company but he told her he had changed. She had no idea of his long criminal past. I realize it was posted on FB but apparently she was blinded by love and failed to do her research. Call her dumb if you will but being dumb does not make one a killer.

I agree being naive doesn’t make you a killer but I do believe she probably knew more about his past than what she told you. It has been posted here, her actual comments to a girl that AL was talking to on IG and CL said in her comment that all AL had ever knew was a life of crime and that he had spent his life in and out of jail. I believe CL posted those comments around July. Perhaps someone else would know.

AL moved in with TM when CL kicked him out the last time they were separated. Yes I'm sure most people involved with AL wish they could change that fact. I'm not a fan as I've said.

We are all in shock trying to figure out what it could be why they charged her. I honestly don't know. None of us do. The only thing we can think of is they need information and they found something circumstantial due to them living in same house and was able to get enough for a judge to sign an arrest warrant. We just don't think she is capable of this. I wish I knew. It's tore us all up.

I think its normal that she would try to protect him and not tell her friends about his background.
I didnt know that AL and Tm actually knew each other either.
