Was CL in class or clinicals? I am going to check with a friend who is a recent (spring 2014) graduate of the UALR nursing program because I find it odd that a student in her first semester of nursing school is already doing clinicals.
Wasn't CL's resume posted earlier ? Not a first semester student.

I think the test was done on CL. NJ mentioned before they were doing a hair follicle test on her. Besides the son didn't live with CL, therefore no need to test him.

Maybe all parties including the children were drug tested?

First year student. Maybe second semester, but there are so many classes to take before you ever really get into your nursing classes.

But he's the one trying to get custody. The only way a drug screen on her would matter as far as him getting the daughter to live with him, would be if mom failed drug screen. It's all moot now because CL is in jail awaiting a long, drawn out, investigation and trial if it comes to that. The fax is from an attorney other than CLs (look at the very top of the faxed page).

I must refute that CL went to competitions. She went to ONE. The rest of the time her daughter went with other parents. I must also refute CL's mother being at any competition. Whoever told that tale is WAY OFF BASE. CL's mother doesn't live in Arkansas and it's my understanding from CL personally that they don't have much of a relationship or see each other hardly at all.

I do not think the gym owner would lie to LE in a murder investigation. Most people do not lie to LE. CL would have been in class BEFORE the meeting time with BC and past the time that CC reported BC missing. That much is a FACT.

From a parenting standpoint, I find it odd that she only went to one competition. Not saying I don't believe you, but I think it's weird.

ITA You can't "grab" a lock box. They are permanently affixed to (usually) the door now and only the individual who placed it there and has the code can remove it. If he removed it (as MSM suggested) it could have been done with the use of magnets or perhaps removing the doorknob or having the code to remove it. You can grab the key that is in the lock box if the person with the code opened it but not the entire lock box.

Perhaps the whole doorknob was removed, which could explain the door being wide open (i.e. wind/breeze?)

Not saying you are lying or anything of that nature, so please dont take it that way. I'm just relaying what I was told by another parent whose child was on a team with CLs child. How do you know what the owner told LE?

Someone posted here on WS that clinicals are from 5:30 to 10:30 - CL was supposedly home at around 10pm..??

That was me that misspoke. I later remembered that she said she was home between 10:30-11:00 that evening. I just didn't go back and correct [modsnip]

I dont think anyone here thinks you are a liar. I think that people think that you may have been lied to. I personally hope that CL had nothing to do with this for the sake of her children.

I was not present but I have no reason to believe anyone, especially the owner of the gym, would just lie. Why would they? They are not the ones under investigation. The gym owner has made it clear that BC's granddaughter was at the gym for maybe 3-4 months top in early 2014. She was only there a short time on a 1/2 year team that was not the same team that CL's daughter was on. I verified from 4 sources all of this because personally I wanted to know for my own sanity.

My daughter and CL's daughter are very good friends. She spent many nights at my home. I know CL did not go to cheer competitions out of town (which all or most of them were) except one time.

http://ualr.edu/nursing/become-a-nurse/faq/

It appears that students do have clinicals early on. This is FAQ from UALR nursing program.

Is it true that you do criminal background checks and drug tests to enter the program? I have a past criminal record but I think it has been expunged from my record. Can I be accepted to the program?
The UALR Department of Nursing will conduct Criminal Background Checks and Drug Screenings on all fully admitted AAS students. You need to verify the status of your record prior to application and review the list of crimes that would prohibit licensure. This listing is available at the Arkansas State Board of Nursing website (subchapter 3 of the Nurse Practice Act).

How many hours will I be in class each semester?
The official answer: Nursing courses are didactic. This means that you have both classroom and clinical time each week. Each clinical credit hour is at a 1:3 ratio so the actual contact hours per week exceed the credit hour allocation. For example: NURS 1410 is a 4 hour course 2 lecture and 2 clinical. This means each week you have two days of lecture and a two- 6 hour clinical rotation or one 12 hour clinical rotation.

The unofficial answer: You will be immersed in nursing for 2 years. You must be prepared to budget time outside the classroom for nursing. Based on an informal survey of 2012 students in our program, most studied, prepped, practiced or did some sort of nursing related work outside the classroom and clinical for 12-18 hours per week.

I haven't seen anyone call you a liar, but we question what you say because that's what we do here with everyone. I think if you want to come on a forum like this and become a "verified insider" you may need very thick skin.

Hmmm. Since hair follicle drug testing was brought up, I wonder when AL was to be drug tested next due to his parole status. This could explain his shaved head on Thursday. Again, he is a dumb criminal. The testing lab can take hair from other parts of the body, unless he shaved his underarms, chest and legs, too.

If no hair is available on your head (you're bald or have a shaved head), hair from other parts of your body can be tested.[8]

In case it has not become apparent by now, I DO HAVE THICK SKIN and will not be deterred by ANYONE. That was my point. I have many members private messaging me stating they don't like what they see others post about me. Some of the posts were removed before I saw them. I am here for the truth. Nothing more, nothing less. I see a lot of misinformation here that I don't even bother to correct because I don't want to argue with every false thing I see reported here. Everyone has a right to free speech. I just chuckle and move along. It does make for good reading though.

Some things are just so ridiculous that I see posted that I have to comment on them. Such as this hair follicle test. I reported weeks ago that she passed the hair follicle test. Now it's clear that it is in a court document yet because of how some attorney choose to write the paragraph it is questioned. Of course it was fine for those here to bash her when it said in court documents that she failed the original pee test to report that as fact. The truth is out there if you want to see it. Here is where it said she flunked the pee test "5. Upon being drug screened the Plaintiff tested positive for PCP and temporary custody was awarded to the defendant" "6. An expedited hearing will be granted to the Plaintiff if she has submitted to a hair follicle drug screen at A Test Consultants on Broadway in North Little Rock, Arkansas." from the Oct 31 filing. Why would anyone else be hair follicle tested but her? https://contexte.aoc.arkansas.gov/i...resent2?DMS_ID=NLE0TPIJ606SFEB45KE7MSQ2TAWREH

IT seems that nobody wants to really get to the bottom of what happened. The mentality is just because LE says it's so then it is so. I assume the same was said about other "supposed criminals" who were charged, convicted, and even sent to death row only years later to be proven innocent. Some of which LE withheld information they knew exonerated those individuals charged. I'm not suggesting at all that this is the case with the Pulaski County Sheriff's Office. I'm not smearing their name at all just pointing out facts. It happens. LE is human like everyone else and they do make mistakes.

I'm holding on to the hope that CL was honest with her friends and this is just a huge misunderstanding. I have known her for many years. She is not the person she is being presented to be here. Carry on.

Thanks for the info about the drug testing. As for her guilt or innocence, I have no clue. She does appear a mystery to have married a felon x7 who has it posted on his Facebook page, yet she claims to not have known about that. How long did she know AL before they married in April? Nursing school is difficult so perhaps she is smart but lacks common sense.

I asked the person I spoke with again, and she tells me that she knows for a fact that CL attended at least two competitions because CL and her daughter were late and they were having to track them down. The point being, even if it was only one time, that's all it would take for them to run across each other.

As to why the owner would downplay this? Her business has been in the news a lot. I would imagine that she would want to limit the exposure. Maybe she also truly doesn't believe that CL could be involved and is trying to help defend her. I dont know what their relationship was, but she must have felt fairly comfortable with CL to have been at her house that Friday night. Unless I'm misinformed about that too.

Tone it down in here, please. Discuss the case and not each other. :tyou:
