Agree. I was late to this thread, so late to this conversation. People should understand everyone sleuths different and what is important to one...may not be important or relevant to another. I just ask that people be respectful to me trying to get the details, as I find these important, even though some of you may not. Here is my question, the police report states red shorts. Posters are saying capris. Where is that coming from? Was it updated at some point? I did find many articles stating both, but I just chalked it up to bad reporting and I go with the PR. Did the release what she was found in? I tried to find out and didn't see it? I appreciate anyone that can help me. It is helpful for me to have all the facts in every case. Sorry for those who have discussed this greatly. I wasn't here then.
Too my knowledge what she was found in and what she actually had on has never been mentioned again.

Going back to the initial report

I guess I had thought she was home and left to run by and show this potential buyer a home. Reading the report again, I don't think that now. Also, and could be just how the report is written, but it doesn't appear that BC was concerned, or CC either, because he wasn't concerned til abt 9. So I take that as this was a pretty common thing (meeting with clients after they get off wk)

"Mr. Carter stated he had not been in contact with his wife, Beverly Carter since she had last called
him at 1730 hours.
Mr. Carter stated his wife works as a Realtor for Creye Leike Realtors. Mr. Carter stated during this
phone call his wife told him she was going to show the house at 14202 Old River Drive to an
unknown person"

Didn't He rec a text around 7ish? that was kinda odd? Wonder why he waited til after 9 to go drive by? Possible he was busy too and time got away from him and realized had been a while since heard from her.
No her friend got the texts at 7. CC said in his TV interview that by 8 he was worried and decided to give her 30 more minutes thinking she might be busy with paperwork. So by 8:30 her really was concerned.

And there was duct tape. No one goes on a "date" with duct tape. He's a nasty liar. End of story there.

I was thinking, though. He made it very clear that he wants us to believe something was going on with them. So, maybe he made Crystal believe the same thing! Kinda like, "Yeah, you know that real estate agent on those billboards that goes to the gym? Well. we hooked up." I have met many men who say things just to make a jealous woman more jealous. The craziest one I knew said when women were really jealous and buts, he knew they cared. Oooook!?!? Not really, but ok. Anyway, I think it is possible that he maybe said something of that nature and it got Crystal involved. I don't know. Just popped in my brain today and hasn't left.

He def appeared to think he was a stud muffin. I mean posting on that dating site, what was it day after BC kidnapped? But after reading the whole wahwah crap about calling the police on the ex gf husband, then posting the reports lol. He appeared to me more of the wanna be pretty boy than the tough guy. Anyone have copy of that police report? The one AL posted on his fb.

I never did understand how they could say nothing was missing from her purse. But I guess it looked undisturbed and her wallet was inside. She also had won $100 that day at work so maybe that was there and it just appeared nothing was taken.
I said the same thing. My husband never looks in my purse. But when I ask him if he would know if something was missing, he said yes because they mean things like money, drivers license and debit/credit cards.

Are there court appearances this week for either CL or AL?

Just to keep in mind, the other house was furnished indicating it was likely still occupied... in which case you as the Realtor would need to give owners a healthy advance notice before just dropping in with clients. Here most owners like about 24 to 48 hrs when possible so they can arrange to get out, decide what to do with pets, kids, housekeepers, clean the place up, remove valuables, etc. Even your own listing it's not common to drop by for any last minute showing - does happen on occasion, but not common. Meaning Beverly would have arranged the showing a day or so in advance with her owners, unless they had moved out already.

If you are talking about this listing, it says the house sells completely furnished.....so not necessarily someone living there.

Interesting to see the house is still listed on the market, and they just reduced it by another $10,000 about a week ago. Current price $241K. Also interesting to see the Trulia local "crime report" for the neighborhood showing "0" crimes in the area, no violent or non violent! D'oh... And most interesting of all to me to see that in march 2010, when the market was still reeling low from the 2008 real estate crash... this property sold for $890,000! That's very odd. Maybe Arkansas saw a strange regional (massive) peak in 2010?

I would guess that $890,000 is wrong. Not many houses bring that around here and from the looks of that house no way.

Although I am not privy to all the local rumors, I have come to my own conclusions and that's where I am with it. I do think things are going to come out at trial that will cause a collective gasp out of most here. But I think we will all be relieved to have some of the gaps filled in because we are all trying so hard to understand what occurred.

Yeah, me, too.

Well reading those posts didn't creep me out at all. Wow! Now I have cold chills down my spine.

Don't. They come up with vague generalities at 1st, then they Friend people on FB who might know local details & either ask them straight out about concrete walls, water/drainage pipes, signs with black letters, etc. (name me a place near civilization the doesn't have that) or they read through their interactions for "visions."

I have been a secondary victim, used by these so-called psychic sleuths. They often contact families and tell them blood curdling stories about what happened to their missing/murdered loved ones. They are sadistic opportunists and not helpful at all, re-victimizing the families and hampering official investigations.

That's probably a good example but it looks like it was a year into that case. Have only looked at 1st page though.

The link to 1st thread doesn't work but I'll try to find it and see if it has more of what I mean.

I believe we all possess some insight, gut instincts, previous personal experiences, hunches & know information (but don't know how we know it). I am not trying to disparage any of that.

I'm talking about people who believe they can actually see through space & time to witness something that happened and about greedy con-artists who want to cash in on the grief of others who have been through terrible unsolved tragedies.

ETA - still unsolved?! http://www.websleuths.com/forums/sh...neral-discussion-2014&p=11197995#post11197995

Not accusing these people of being anything but hopeful & trying to help, but it's a good example, #47:

Google maps + immersion in media, internet coverage could lead to similar "psychic visions."

Sorry. I did not mean to get everything off topic with my sleuthing find of the psychic crime fighters link. I just found it interesting and shared. I'm sure there are some con psychics out there but I also believe some are legit and very helpful in crime cases or LE wouldn't respect and use their services.

I totally agree. GRR like that Sylvia Brown .. I think of lil Opal Jennings and was it Amanda Berry? She was wrong told Opals family she was kidnapped and some where else and the baby was murdered. And Amanda Berrys mother died with a broken heart thinking her daughter was dead because of what Sylvia told her.

Tick tock tick tock [emoji354]
Waiting on an update. I'm assuming this hearing is for them to enter their pleas to the formal charges, which their attorneys will advise to plea not guilty.

  • #636
What cases did LE use psychics to assist in? Pretty sure they will take down any "psychic's" information as a routine matter when called in as a tip on an unsolved case, but I don't know of any instance where an agency actually requested their assistance.

However, you are correct. The whole subject is irrelevant to this case.

If it's true they don't have to be present, they probably won't be entering pleas today.

I have never heard this. Who was he hanging out with? I have not heard any real friends mentioned.

Not sure this is who they're talking about, but remember AL's FB photos of a police report where he called cops on that young woman's estranged husband who came to try to get her to get away from AL (or make AL move out)? He called cops & told them the husband & his buddy threatened him with a gun. Got one or both arrested, IIRC, even though no gun ever found.

If this link doesn't work, go to www.pulaskiclerk.com and enter Aaron Lewis. Look for the newest case. There are several postings where his attorney is asking for discovery.
Is James Hensley, Jr. public defender for both AL and CL?
(Open mouth, insert more caffeine)
ETA: Sorry, answered my own question.

CL's defender is Brett Qualls
