Also mentioned in the Arkansas Democrat Gazette article published today, the jail has been returning the letters to AL that he writes to CL. So it may be that it's against policy for the jail to accept letters from prisons.

So, that answers one question we had. Regardless of his request, the mental eval will still happen.

He's crazy all right.....but not so crazy he didn't know right from wrong! I just don't see where his attorney is going with the mental defect defense. Throwing out stuff and seeing what sticks?

I'm guessing that won't happen. Her attorneys have probably already figured out she is sane. Can't blame AL's attorney for wanting him tested. He is obviously crazy or has a screw or two loose.

I said this yesterday, so I am sure she never even saw them. She may not have even known about them until yesterday. What is even crazy is why is the prison mailing them in the first place when they know they will just be returned.

Besides, it's just wasting his commissary money buying paper, pencils, postage, etc. I say keep on writing and mailing!

Haha! You couldn't hear her over the reporter in that piece. I just remembered watching the raw footage yesterday and with no voiceover you could hear what she said. I remembered it because unlike AL (chatty cathy) it was the first time I'd heard her voice.

Does he love CL so much that he wants to cover for her with the accusation that TM is the actual "co-defendant"? Or, did another male actually instigate this crime with him and is walking around free right now?

I need to drop it but my gut says not to.

I don't think it was a slip because I think he was questioned about text messages between the two. We know from his FB and IG that Trevor was a friend.

I keep going back to why did neighbors even give him their number. Like the lady he called for help?? I can see if you are neighbors and friends but I am not giving my number out to my new felon neighbor down the street.

Ah! A link to that was posted somewhere in this thread yesterday. That's probably why it seems "recent" to you. I watched the video as opposed to reading, which is why I realized they were referencing the trevor perpwalk conversation. Would have been harder to determine the reference by reading only.

This KATV reporter can get him to talk though. She's the one that's interviewed him on his 3 part interview, asked him about his injury from the wreck and was there yesterday asking him questions too. Just wish there would have been more time on that perp walk for him to spill more info.

Worst part of the video for me is him saying "sorry". It's about as empty as you can get.
