I guess this wasn't confirmed. I assumed this was the case since they were on to him so quick. I'm not sure how else they would have been linked him to the crime that soon. I edited my original post to reflect it is unconfirmed.

Thanks, I've missed a lot so wasn't sure. However that initial contact was actually made will be so key to learn...I'd hate to miss the details.

Are there any pawn shops in the area? I have always wondered if Beverly's wedding ring was gone when they found her. If her ring was missing that would probably be the first place LE checked. That would have gave them some instant cash.

I bet he was arrested before he could have hoped to pawn anything, if he even took anything. Remember he left Beverly's purse at the scene of the abduction.

What about her, she could have taken something to a pawn shop during the month after he was arrested before she was arrested.

Obviously violent crimes never make rational sense to normal people .... But I just don't get it. These two are definitely not brilliant criminal master minds... But one would think that a kidnapping for ransom would require some planning and for thought. What little is known about this crime just sounds so spontaneous and sloppy. What kind of criminal doesn't know that iPhones are traceable? There's a freaking app called "find my iPhone!!"

Obviously there's never any justifiable excuse for a violent crime... But if they were drug addicts or owed money to the mob I could at least wrap my head around that.... But this I just don't get.

There's just so many things we don't know... So many questions...

Maybe they were drug addicts. AL was into meth. Wouldn't be a far jump for CL to start using. I've heard amphetamines leave your system in 3 days.
It would explain the sloppy sloppy job they did while thinking they were carrying out a brilliant idea to kidnap for ransom.

Not that dumb. LE told her from the start they were watching her and were going to get her.

I do not think drugs were involved or have any blame in this.

NJ Did CL go back to school after AL was arrested? No reason pertaining to the case for asking. I just dont know what Id do and if Id be able to.

I have never seen anything but rumor he was into meth. Did I miss something and is their a link for that?

Can someone find the court documents filed by the ex? (Im not good at finding that stuff.)He alleged that AL was a meth user. But I dont know if it is a proven fact.

Not sure we can post it because it pertains to the kids. But its on the Pulaski Cty Clerk page. IIRC it was in the emerg custody paperwork, stated that the dtr said AL used Meth. That's all I have seen.

Makes sense as to why then she felt she needed a "timeline"

Thanks. I was looking for the links thread thinking it might be there. It would name the kids so I dont think it would be allowed.

Their is an accusation in a legal document. Not sure I can post the link, but we've seen it here.

EDITED to remove rumor .

I strongly suspect that AL was using meth.
I suspect crystal was too, but I forgot that she passed a hair follicle drug test so I'll drop it.

That's the first time I've heard that. So is that why she wanted your help with a timeline? I did not know LE suspected her from the beginning.. Until they said it on MSM. I know I didn't suspect her, but I felt for sure he had an accomplice and I still suspect another male. But my hinky meter went up a few notches after the halloween pics.
Anyway... LE told her they were going to get her?

After they filed the formal charges the news article said both are due in court Monday. He was supposed to go in Dec and her in Jan. Does this mean they will be tried together? And if they are tried together will one defender represent both of them or will they each have one?

I think the only link you can post is to the location of the document. Pulaski City Clerk page. Its there for the reading.

I edited to remove rumor. Can you edit your quote? Thanks

You know, I think the drug issue would be more important in a custody suit. Even if they did drugs and was higher than a kite its not gonna be an excuse to get away with murder. I think greed is the motivating factor here and it would have happened drugs or no drugs.

Does anyone remember which online yardsale CL was posting the furniture on? Thanks in advance

CL posted items on several yard sale sites -- Conway Swap was one of them..

I wondered about IP addresses.
