I respectfully agree to disagree. I am just going by court paperwork.

On the Oct 16th Judge Kilgore signed the Emerg Custody order giving TL temp custody. #3 of this order states that CL is to have no contact with H.E.L. until she (CL) appears before the Court and is restrained from any threats or harassment until further order of this court. There was a hearing date of Oct 21 @ 11am. This Emergency order dated Oct 16 and signed by judge, gave TL custody of H.E.L. until the Oct 21 hearing. CL was served with this on the morning of the 17th at 9:15.

If you read, this court order it states they were in court on the 17th. #5 says she failed the urine test. #6 says "An expedited hearing will be granted to the Plaintiff (CL) if she has submitted to a hair follicle drug screen at A TEST CONSULTANTS on Broadway in North Little Rock Arkansas"
#8 "If the hearing is more than 2 weeks from Oct 21,2014, the previous attorney ad litem Carol Hicks should be appointed to represent best interest of the child H.E.L. and parties shall equally split costs of the ad litem" #9 final hearing is set for Nov 13 at 3:30.

The Oct 21 hearing was canceled. per the court docket (this date was orig set aside for hearing when Oct 16th order was signed by Judge Kilgore) Then CL appeared in court on Oct 17th, I feel like afternoon time wise. It being an emergency court order, she probably was allowed to see the judge. Seen judge, had urine test done (they can/and do random urine test at the court all the time)

10/21/2014
01:18 PM EMERGENCY HEARING CANCELLED
Entry: none.
Images No Images

As was the Nov 13 Hearing
11/13/2014
03:33 PM CUSTODY HEARING CANCELLED
Entry: none.

I could be wrong, but I believe Butler321 also made comment H.E.L. was still with her Daddy from the Oct 17th hearing due to failed urine test when CL was arrested on Oct 30th. If I am wrong, I be the first in line to apologize, I sure don't want to understand wrong and spread untruths as truth. There is enough of that mess as it is.

This is my point on this board EVERYDAY that things are so easily misunderstood. Things do not get worded correctly in court papers or are misinterpreted by those who are not present.

I know for a FACT that CL and her ex appeared in court on Tuesday, October 21st. She was served with papers to come to court and her daughter was taken from school on Oct 17th by the dad with cops there because my daughter witnessed that happen. Nobody is served and appears in court on the same day. An emergency order was entered and daughter taken UNTIL the Oct 21st court date. That was same day as urine and hair follicle test were done. CL did not get the daughter back because of the false positive urine test. That happened on Oct 21st.

Butler can you please confirm this so others will believe me.

I'm not sure why it says Oct 21st hearing was cancelled but it was NOT cancelled. They appeared at 11:00 a.m. not 1:18 p.m. I don't know why so many things in court records are not correct. I guess data entry errors??? I just know the FACTS of what REALLY HAPPENED that day.

They were NOT in court on October 17th.

Butler please clear up these misstatements by the court as apparently my word is no good.

I'm not sure what the question is here??

@Butler321

Please let them know that court was held on Oct 21st NOT Oct 17th when she was served with papers and when the daughter was picked up from school by her dad and LE. Can you also verify that the urine and hair follicle tests were done on Oct 21st same day please?

Court records apparently are confusing some.

Court dockets do get screwed up but I swear I thought you said she flunked urine test the week before the follicle test & both were done the 17th.

If I said 17th I misspoke. I NEVER said the urine and hair follicle were different days or that one was a week before the other. I always knew they were same day. That day was the day they went to custody court Oct 21st. I may have said it takes 4-7 days to get results back on hair follicle test. She was waiting on those results for about a week.

@Butler321 can easily verify this and clear up this matter since she seems to be believed when I'm not. That's ok and it does not hurt my feelings. I just know the FACTS on this one and if the court docs are confusing then I'm sorry.

My understanding is that TL was granted emergency custody on 10/16 and took physical custody of his daughter from school on 10/17 as he was instructed to do by his attorney. 10/21 was the day of the temporary custody hearing where both parties appeared in court....this is the day of the urine test and hair follicle test. Crystal was arrested before they could have another hearing.

I think people are confused here because they don't understand the difference between emergecy hearing/temp orders hearing/permanate hearing. No parties appeared before the judge on 10/16....I don't believe Crystal was even aware there was a hearing on 10/16 as she is not required by law to be given notice for an emergency hearing.

The children's father filed for emergency custody based on the fact that his children's step father had been arrested for capital murder and kidnapping...I think that was a more than reasonable decision on his part.

This is your response.
The hair was taken the same day as the pee test. It took 4 days to get results. I think that is why the date says 10/21. As others have posted here her fibro meds can cause a false positive.

That is where we got that they were in court on the 17th.

Thank you Butler for verifying what I've been saying. I appreciate your honesty. I agree that the daughter is where she needs to be in her best interest considering what is going on. I agreed with this BEFORE CL was arrested because I love the daughter. I told CL this. The father had every right to file for emergency custody. That does not make CL a bad parent but children do not need involved in these situations.

Then I misspoke on date or maybe typo. If so I'm sorry. But I always said urine and hair follicle both same day and 4 days to get results. I may not have been looking at calendar when I spoke so I apologize for my mistake.

In that emergency court order, it says on this date, 10/16. It then has item #5 that she failed her urine test. It then states that she has two weeks to complete follicle test and it is dated to be completed by 10/21. Yet it's signed 10/31.

guess it is bad paperwork. Just curious, how is it known when the drug tests were taken?

I think there are a lot of misprints in the order. The judge does not type those the attorney does.

What makes this nut job a bad parent is the fact that she married that evil dipwad and put her own needs/desires above those of her children. Selfish and inexcusable. What an idiot. This child is far better off with her father by the sounds of things. I hope if CL is found not guilty, that the daughter stays with her father. JMO

Random musings:

1. Don't you know AL is every defense attorney's nightmare client. He just can't keep his mouth shut, can he?

2. Jail life does not seem to be agreeing with CL. She looks like she's aged quite a bit!

edit to add after watching video: 3. Jail life *does* seem to be agreeing with AL. He's put on some weight since he's been there.

Statewide newspaper report of this morning's hearing.

Be sure to view the video that is on this article. It's a little square on the left and can be viewed full size.

Have any of you watched the video? Why is AL always so smirky when he talks to reporters? He really should do the mental evaluation, in fact, I didn't know he could turn that down. He has to be mentally stable to stand trial. He is definitely a "mental case" but that doesn't mean he doesn't know right from wrong or what is happening in the courtroom and that's what matters as far as the mental evaluation. He just seems to act like it's all just a thing. The cameras are a little much, he says. On the other hand, CL is more appropriate in not speaking and not grinning like AL.

I think he's eating up the attention with a spoon. He's "famous".

Do you have a link directly to the video? On my phone and can't seem to pull it up.

Right and if they weren't already, there will be random people writing to him. He'll probably have a following of women who write. It sounds like he's been writing to CL and she hasn't been responding. That's smart of her.

I tried to find a link, but it's embedded somehow in that story and won't give a link. It's perp walks of both of them, with AL talking and asking reporters to write to him if they want answers. He almost gets hit in the face with a large tv camera. CL never says a word, nor changes expression.
