Just curious why some defend CL but yet don't defend AL? They are both charged with the same crimes.It seems like a double standard to say she is innocent until proven guilty but not apply that same standard to AL. Is it because its harder to believe a woman could be a part of such hideous crimes? jmo

I have not seen anybody here use the "innocent until proven guilty" line when talking about CL. The bottomline is that AL admitted to being involved, that's enough for me to say he's guilty. We have not seen a shred of evidence against CL that implicates her in murder or kidnapping.

I'm the type of person that doesn't allow others (LE) to make up my mind for me. I just want to hear the evidence first before I can agree with them charging her with what they did. I don't need a jury's verdict, which I'm assuming is what you meant by "innocent until proven guilty."

I will admit, however, the odds are good that LE charged her with murder/kidnapping based on legit evidence, especially since the charges weren't downgraded last week.

I'm sure the stress of this would age a person alone. But, there is an obvious change in her appearance in a very short time.

If Im a defense attorney and my client is sitting in jail facing a trial for capitol murder and kidnapping when the evidence points to them being an accessory after the fact or aiding and embedding Id be fighting to get them out of there. I wouldnt let them sit there and face a trial. If her attorney feels her charges should be lesser he could do something about it and she would be able to bond out on lesser charges. so, why isnt that happening?

It is not that simple. Plus a public defender which CL has is not going to do more than they have to do.

He also said he had a co defendant named TM which LE doesnt believe. He could have been covering for someone else . We dont have any evidence he did it. (Not looking at this right now from my opinions-just the known evidence.)

He also had a record a mile long. We know he had suspicious behavior the days leading up to the arrest as well.

There were pictures on her Facebook wearing shorts and sitting in a car this past summer where she was bony skinny and had bruises on her legs. Her face now and at the time of her arrest, is much more filled out than if you look at pics of her and AL or those pics from summer. IMO

Exactly. I go by facts and evidence. Which we have seen none of yet. She maybe and even may very well be guilty. I just have seen anything other than an arrest warrant that show any facts.

I know. But meth doesn't stay long in the system for testing and tests can be altered with product.

It's just my opinion that she was doing something that altered her thought process.

Thinking about the charge of Kidnapping for Ransom and/or Reward (PA when asked said it could be one or the other or both)

I feel sure had Le not been on AL so quickly there would have been a huge reward offered for Beverly's safe return..

For it to be both AL & CL would collect the ransom still keeping Beverly and somehow *find* Beverly to collect the reward...

also they could have demanded a ransom even after Beverly had died, who would know except them that she was dead??

They did start a fund for Helping find Beverly, which afterwards they said would go to her grandchildren somehow (paraphrasing) and Crime Stoppers said her disappearance qualified her. Thankfully AL was apprehended quickly. Brings whole new meaning to Finding Blessings in all things...

For all volunteers, as of this writing, the volunteer search parties are NOT being asked to report to central command center Tuesday morning. Pulaski County Sheriffs office is being assisted by many county special rescue teams and will re-direct our volunteer groups during the day tomorrow. We will post the updates as soon as they are available to us and let you know when and where for volunteer searchers to go. Thank you all so, this is just a little redirection, not a cancellation. IIRC this would have been around 8pm posted and around that time is when LEO was searching the Jacksonville location. I thinking by LEO saying this they had gut feeling she wasn't alive. By then they had so much more info

I've thought it was a huge blessing that she had that false positive urine drug screen.... Got her daughter out of the madness and thank God she wasn't there when she got arrested the second time. The Lord works in mysterious ways.

I was the one looking for changes in CLs appearance to indicate drug abuse because to me, if your husband is a user and you both commit the same violent crime against an innocent person.. Chances are, you're a user too.

Hopefully we find out later. Like I've stated before, it would explain so much.

He is the one I was following that night when he tweeted that. IIRC this is the first LE asked anyone to search.
