Out on a limb here....CL may or may not have been on illegal or prescribed drugs causing her part in this. Also, I don't believe for a minute that she "snapped". She may have thought circumstances got out of control, or she could have been a ticking time-bomb. Socio/Psychopaths can act and behave smooth as silk around others. My guess is that charges against her will be reduced a bit, hopefully, for her kids sake. Can you imagine the trauma of her children in school and other social surroundings? The awkwardness of everyday talk?

This was the post I was trying to find the other day. This was the night they found Beverly's body.

He also said he had a co defendant named TM which LE doesnt believe. He could have been covering for someone else . We dont have any evidence he did it. (Not looking at this right now from my opinions-just the known evidence.)

At the same time LE said they didn't believe the Trevor story, they also said there was no other person involved. LE doesn't always tell us everything. Nor should they.

They did start a fund for Helping find Beverly, which afterwards they said would go to her grandchildren somehow (paraphrasing) and Crime Stoppers said her disappearance qualified her. Thankfully AL was apprehended quickly. Brings whole new meaning to Finding Blessings in all things...

As bad as the whole thing is, I am so thankful they found her pretty quickly. So many people go years or even forever, without finding their missing loved one. I can't imagine how horrible that would be.

BBM. That's one of the main reasons reason I'm holding out on my own judgment on CL's involvement. LE said they were confident that AL acted alone, and then they later charged somebody else, who was not even the co-defendant that AL spoke of.

I've thought it was a huge blessing that she had that false positive urine drug screen.... Got her daughter out of the madness and thank God she wasn't there when she got arrested the second time. The Lord works in mysterious ways.

Honestly, with all that was going on, she should have wanted HL out of there. Sadly, it sounds like she didn't. I would have wanted to know she was safe and away from there. So I completely agree with you.

Didn't you say that BC had recently lost a lot of weight? And no, I do not mean to imply that BC was a drug user. I'm just trying to clear up confusion and illustrate that weight and appearance may not be an indication of anything.

This was mentioned by some of her friends. The first photos that were put out of her, were the ones that had been professionally done and photo-shopped, to be used on the billboards and business cards. I say photo-shopped, because Beverly said that on one of her pics, something about what a great job they did. So then, some of the people she worked with, started sending out the other pics that were how she looked on a normal day. I know on her son CL's FB page she had ran her first marathon with him, last year.

Carter says he always knew there was another person behind his wife's disappearance. He says he recalls her saying she was showing a house to a couple.

So sad. She probably felt safe and let her guard down.

I really hope with them being in a different state now that they won't have to deal with that as much. We can pray so.

I've said this before.... But CL has a previous boyfriend who's serving some serious time on drug charges. I don't know the details, but it wasn't just some minor possession.... It was intent to distribute. I believe this was bought up in a custody dispute several years ago. Was crystal in on it? Was she dealing or transporting drugs? .... I don't necessarily think so. (I could be wrong) I think she just didn't care as long as the money kept rolling in. I keep coming back to this line of thinking with this crime.... Like she knew it was happening, but just didn't care, and was happy to look the other way.

That being said... I also don't think LE would have filed the charges they have without some serious evidence.

I guess only time will tell.

I was the one looking for changes in CLs appearance to indicate drug abuse because to me, if your husband is a user and you both commit the same violent crime against an innocent person.. Chances are, you're a user too.

Hopefully we find out later. Like I've stated before, it would explain so much.

I agree she does look different. Like the before and after faces of meth. Appearances can change drastically in 2 weeks of using meth or similar speed like substances. But still; unless they have video or text; She will get her charges downgraded eventually. But I must admit; AL seems like the type of person to make sure his woman go down with him. Even if he made her do it.
Maybe once he was in jail; he realize that men were now wanting to support or be with CL; so he implicated her. Idk.

BBM first I have seen this... This guy had been interrogated for 10+ hours and then replied to the reporter "who is Beverly Carter"??? This was when he was leaving PCSO the first time after arrest. Before Beverly was found.

The first time they led him out, instead of going thru the building to booking, they led him out thru reporters. I sure they did this thinking/hoping his arrogant self would say something on tape. He had already confessed. They booked him at 12:42 am on 9/30/2014 Kidnapping and had a Hold for Parole. Interesting go to reporter Ken Buffa fb page and scroll down to the video and comments

Yes he did. Like I had posted before, I was up watching all of this unfold. I don't think I went to bed until around 8 that morning. So dumb he was. His first perp walk, he claimed to not know who she was and the second one, was when he said, because she was a rich Realtor alone. Crazy.

His affect is very different in this video and the prison video where he smirked and was all cleaned up. I know that's to be expected considering he'd just been questioned for hours and had been on the run. He seems very "off" in the video found on Ken Buffa's page on his way to arrest for kidnapping and parole violation. He seems to be coming down from drugs.
