Here is an article from an AR jail. They may not get the food they like and it may be slop. No doubt. But unless the jail lied during this interview they get the calories.

They may serve it but if it is slop then it isn't going to be eaten, unless you have no means of buying commissary. Like I said, I don't doubt he has beefed up, but not from the food provided, rather from food he has bought. I think it was said, Scott Peterson could spend $240 a month on commissary, so I would think a lot of the prisons would be the same.

Right! Slop is high in calories! It is slop! I worked for a state agency for 16 years. There are regulations. There are approved menus. There are licensing visits. Its not that easy to just "lie". Again, we are back to I tend to believe the professionals involved, rather than someone's opinion of what happens. Not to say it never happens, but the norm is probably high calorie, not so great tasting mush. And I'm ok with that.

Meant to add, they say 10 years later that Scott Peterson still has tons of women writing him and depositing money for him. All AL would need is one or two and he could make it. He is tricky, so I wouldn't be at all surprised if some gals are not writing to him. Shoot as I recall it was the same for Casey Anthony. I guess some folks have more money than sense.

Drugs is one thing, I thankfully no zero about. She was working full time until August, could she have been doing meth and holding down a full-time job? All I know about meth is the pics I have seen once people have hit rock bottom. When they have the sores on their face and their teeth have rotted out, so I have no clue how it makes you act.

Do you have a link where she was working full time until Aug? I know from reading the newspaper print article, from CL application for public defender, stated CL had not worked since May 31st. And her income listed was child support, 401K of $11,000. Also that she owed $24,000 in school loans. So she may had gotten PELL Grants and student loan $ at beginning of school. I don't know when her classes started. Possible she had some summer courses.

Arias. Because she had a bad day in court and they blamed the lack of food. And she kept claiming headaches too.

Just wanted to add about BC's weight. She had recently lost weight and had began running marathon's with CC, JR. She looked amazing! I'm not sure how much weight she had lost (or the time frame) but being of similar height, I am guessing 20+ lbs? She had recently went to Destin with her family (children/grandchildren) and her weight loss was easy to see in those photos as well.

I do remember friends/coworkers posting pictures of a more casual Beverly in the days after her kidnapping as opposed to the beautiful professional shot of her that was seen around the world.

Also want to add that I've never seen a billboard of her up in NLR or LR. Benches, society magazines,....possibly but not billboards. Another local, please correct me if I'm wrong.

CL & AL married April 20 (and she filed for divorce 6 mos later). Then if arkansasmimi is right she quit her job the following month.... And if Butler is right she was probably planning on getting him to cover the remainder of her expenses, after support payments.

Not sure how long they were together prior to getting married. Anyone??

So true. The revolving door Dads, druggies, felons, the loud, angry fights... And now this. I'm glad they're in a family situation now that offers some stability and security. Hope the family's plans to transfer to NJ have been put on hold. Poor kids.

The Cabot plant borders Lonoke County. I didn't realize it wasn't Lonoke county until this case. It's actually Pulaski County.. But he would have HAD to travel lonoke county to get there because the opposite side if the road IS lonoke county.

The argon "shop" that the dump truck was stolen from is in Alexander, which is Saline county. Hope that helps.

Thanks! I know the county lines are crazy in that area. I just assumed it was right in Lonoke Cty also. Been a while since been there. Has anyone ever saw where there was any activity at the Alexander area? Only thing I can find is the activity at the Jacksonville location, around 8 the night of AL arrest, prior to hours later finding her at the Cabot Location.

I have never seen any actual news reports of when she quit work. If you are referring again to that AR Gazette, it had a lot of info wrong, and that is why we are not allowed to link it here because it is not considered factual. Or at least that is what I was told about it. It is a blog and not a credible news source. It is the source that claimed stuff about AL that wasn't true, like that he had a gun on him when arrested and and that he didn't own two cars, which AR records show that he does and he was arrested with a knife and not a gun. It had to be less than a month because he had some girl in a video posted on his FB page, where he was complaining about his last girlfriend not caring about him. And that girlfriend wasn't CL, it was the one that he called the police on her ex husband.

At the same time LE said they didn't believe the Trevor story, they also said there was no other person involved. LE doesn't always tell us everything. Nor should they.

Of course, and I agree but my reply was to someone who said that LE didn't believe the Trevor story. My point was they don't have to tell us everything, so we can't just make our assumptions on what they say or don't. We have to wait (or at least we should--most here have not) until evidence is shown. Most here act like CL should have already been put to death.

There are some weird folks among us that's for sure. Look at Charlie Manson! After ALL these years. I have read many times of how he has tons of females writing him. The lady he just married was 26 iirc. TWENTY SIX~

It is pretty sad that this case was on my mind, when I went to bed last night but it was. I was thinking, and I believe that AL was already planning his defense when he was arrested. He kept telling them that he kidnapped her but refused to say where she was. If he had said, then that would be admitting he knew she was dead and could have killed her. I wonder if his attorney will use that angle. Of course then he said, on the TV interview that anything that happened was an accident. So who knows? He may not be able to keep up with his lies.
