I think the most shocking thing to me from the lawsuit he filed against the Pulaski County Sheriff's office and jail is that CL sent him $50. I believe about half of the rest. And I don't doubt they put him on the toilet and told him to hurry the eff up. He was playing them and a life was on the line, or maybe she was already gone, they didn't know. He won that suit against the Department of Corrections so now he thinks he can win them all. He won't win this one or settle out of court. I wonder where he is getting paper and postage now?

I would love to read that letter to the newspaper! He is such a piece of work! I worked in mental health for 16 years. Trying to keep up with someone who has 18000 complaints is exhausting! If you do not address each one thoroughly, they will catch you on something to get you in trouble for. That's how he got $$ the other time in jail. File 16000 complaints and one will end up being valid. Pursue it hard enough, and you get some money. Unfortunately, rewarding that behavior the last time has just validated his behavior and has made him more scam hungry!

Arkansas Democrat-Gazette story today states that AL wrote to the paper and they quoted him. It's subscription only online and in print. Here's the first mention of it: “Facing capital murder
charges are very serious and
I cannot have a person on my
defense team that may have
their own agenda,” Lewis
wrote in a three-page letter to
the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
this week. He did not
elaborate on that remark,
but complained that Hensley
wants him to stop communicating
with the media and “be
a role model inmate.”

I sure would like to read that entire article, I bet it's quite interesting!

Thank you for the info beaglebrd!

Wow....interesting! Thanks for clarifying. I thought he was making a joke.

He legally changed his name to Doc. Don't make me provide a link please.. Lol. But he did.. I think it was his nickname.. And I think he did it before election. I like this sheriff or I would make fun. However.. He don't play!

Did anyone else notice how he claims to have no checking or savings account on those forms.... But in his response to the divorce papers he and crystal have a joint banking account that needs to be addressed. After reading all that I am convinced that he's a sociopath... Absolutely no ability to feel empathy or remorse and clearly a narcissistic personality.... Grandiose delusions that he is somehow superior to others and above the law.

He's definitely got something wrong upstairs. I'm really surprised he never did anything violent prior to this event.

I called that one last night didn't I? Many more to come. Also predicted he would be on a sue spree so they better follow by the book with him in jail and the trial. I think I have psychic abilities and wasnt aware of it. lol But really. He is predictable. He hasnt reached the nasty stage yet with CL but it is coming.

LOL @ he hasn't reached the nasty stage probably because he doesn't have a clue that all his stuff was sold or thrown out and that both dogs have new homes already! Pffttt

we do not know that he did not only that he has not been caught being violent ;(

The $50 CL sent him should get him 5 books of stamps so he is good for about 110 letters. Fasten your seatbelts.

Right, but he's so bad at being a criminal I think it's possible this was his first violent act.

She was trying to get help to pay rent but she had money to send AL? Talk about screwed up priorities.

And he was charged with kidnapping and murder and she was supporting him? Hmmmm? I wouldn't have given him the time of day if I was his "innocent" wife.

AND, she sends him the money on the 14th and then files for divorce on the 17th? Something stinks here.

13 yrs in prison? Lol. Is that a typo, beaglebrd? Or does he actually think he's been in prison 13 yrs?

Is it possible, he has that's all his diff times thru life spent in jail? Juvenile records are sealed ;) and he is 31. that's only 18 yrs not in prison, I see it do able, also wasn't he in prison in a diff state? I have seen multi states posted. I remember reading one state he was in prison and had to do the psychological therapy and wasn't there something that referenced drug therapy or something. Have to go back and look for links.

Omgee, is this remorse we are reading from AL? Is he speaking any truths? Hmmm...

Or could be he doesn't want CL to testify against him  :jail: jmo

maybe he is counting the yrs he was convicted for, not the real time he served???

Of course, they are both innocent. BC went with him, but he didn't kidnap her. Whatever happened was an accident. All of this according to his TV interview from the Maximum Security Prison in Tucker, AR.

That lawsuit, filed by Lewis
last month acting as his own
lawyer
, accuses authorities of
brutalizing him to get him to
cooperate with the investigation
.
In his court filings, he
said deputies denied him treatment
for bleeding injuries, including
ones he suffered in a
Sept. 28 car wreck while under
police surveillance.

Lewis claims in the suit that
sheriff’s investigators also denied
him access to his lawyer
when he asked to consult with
one and threatened to shoot
him if he didn’t cooperate. The
officer told him the shooting
would be explained away as
a response to Lewis trying to
escape, according to the suit.

The sheriff’s office has not
responded to the lawsuit. It
was filed Nov. 20, then updated
Dec. 2.

Haha, denied him medical care after the car wreck?? The one where he snuck out of the hospital?

I betcha he says something like, he didn't have insurance to pay for the test so he left the hospital. (he wasn't under arrest and technically was free to leave)
Remember that video from that reporters fb page, where AL was saying WHO? Who is Beverly Carter so forth. He smacked his head pretty good and they did ticket him for no seatbelt. < that ticket, he could use that in some part of his defense if he goes with the head injury. But he could claim concussion. NOT defending him by no means, just thinking out loud. If he wasn't on drugs, that bug eyed/dazed look could have been some of the symptoms of concussion.

Until I see proof otherwise, I have faith that they have evidence for the charges and the individuals charged. I have gut feeling possible someone else has at least some knowledge other than these two bumbling fools.

He must think he's the only person ever interrogated by law enforcement. These people know what the laws are. He wasn't bleeding either time he did the perp walk around the time of arrest. The only blood was from the wreck and he was taken by ambulance to the hospital. Dumb arse.

From the article in #782 -
" denied him treatment
for bleeding injuries, including
ones he suffered in a
Sept. 28 car wreck while under
police surveillance
"

Again, just thinking out loud. He possibly got a booboo when he tried to escape the LEO when he was at the apt complex and iirc jumped out the window?

"denied
him access to his lawyer
when he asked to consult with
one and threatened to shoot
him if he didn’t cooperate. The
officer told him the shooting
would be explained away as
a response to Lewis trying to
escape
, according to the suit."

This also bbm, most likely have been when he was apprehended at the apartment complex. And very well was said. That would jmho be the only place where he would be able to escape or that LEO would be shooting. Inside a building they have too many safeguards in place to shoot, unless the individual has a gun and fixing to shoot. I would love to read the actual filing, to see the full context of these statements. We know how media, giving bits of the report, but when put all together comes out different. (as I read reports saying LOCK missing from house, Deputy Purifoy saying KEY in HIS report, to me is 2 diff things, but may not be, just diff words, and we don't know what the other officers on scene reports state)

Again, not defending just thinking out loud

Lawdy! This dude is on a roll with writing letters and a suing frenzy! He's a mental train wreck waiting to happen. I have a feeling all of this is going to get pretty "western" before it's over! Where's Marshall Matt Dillon and Festus when we need 'em?

Quote snipped....

Well your right!!! lmao WE ALREADY HAVE SHERIFF DOC HOLLIDAY :happydance:
