Nojustice, would it be fair to say, if I'm understanding these time frames correctly now, that when AL made his extortion attempt to TKL, trying for the $5000 that summer, that he was at the time living with TM he who shall not be named? It seems he had been recently kicked out of CLs house and had then gone to live with that person formerly known as a possible suspect... right? I find it interesting in that it might show collaborative scheming with that person formerly known as suspect at the time.

Second question (and I have a feeling no one knows this one yet, but I will try)... AL supposedly said at the time that he was going to provide TKL proof of drug use and prostitution on behalf of CL, in exchange for the money... I presume thinking it could be useful to him in the custody case. Does anyone know what kind of proof he was intending to supply to make that case? Did he have any compromising photos or videos on his phone for example, or elsewhere? If he was seeking five grand in recompense - I think it's safe to say he was prepared to send off something he had up his sleeve. Fabricated or not. This then ties back into my theory #621 about AL procuring and using compromising photos of Beverly, doctored or not, to extort $$ as part of the originally intended crime.

There was an episode of Sons of Anarchy where they drugged a guy and while he was passed out they had a transvestite dominatrix come in to pose for some compromising pictures which they later used to blackmail the guy. Yes. This is what I'm talking about (theory 621)!! He would have no problem getting the drugs, and to lure her there he only needed to find a listing that was vacant with no danger of the owner coming home. And maybe get CL to make the non threatening appointment call. He made that bad slip in his perp walk about pics on his phone (BEFORE he mentioned the other pics that LE was showing him) and it kind of falls into place as an extortion crime --not unlike the other one we know he attempted -- gone wrong.

It was my understanding he took her phone and used it to call TKL to try to extort money. Maybe TKL will be kind enough to verify this or rebut it. I'm only repeating what CL told me. I was told that he posted information somewhere (maybe craigslist) as proof. The proof was supposedly ads he went and posted. I never saw them. This was CL's word only.

I do not know of any drug use by CL or that AL told TKL there was drug use? I never heard that drug use was mentioned. TKL can you also comment on this?

I don't think he had any proof just trying to scam money. JMHO

Just thinking out loud here. The Sons of Anarchy-esque compromising photo scheme theory would probably require more than one perp. There would need to be someone to take the photos, right? Unless he used a timer and a tripod.

Confused again! The photos of Shanyw's beautiful son, not involved in the case, are permitted - which I wholly agree with, yet the video of Beverly's celebration of life that we were also all so moved by - was unpermitted & deleted, and I'm not clear why? As were all the subsequent glowing comments people had for the victim and her loved ones, all removed. On a victim friendly site. I'd like to continue to focus on Beverly in a manner that won't offend anyone, but having trouble understanding how. In the event any friends or family might peek in here I would love them to find that there are a group of strangers out there who still feel for their grief and tribulations and are supportive of them still. Instead of them finding back and forth bickering of just how innocent or guilty people think her accused killers are. A plea for the victim here.

It was a beautiful picture and I am so sorry! Hugs to you. I haven't lost a child, but having lost two young cousins, it is hard for me and I see their parents still struggle daily, especially around the holidays. I will keep you in my thoughts over the holidays.

What the mod meant (I am pretty certain) was no pics of anyone related to the case, but not yet sleuthed or a victim. So, the relatives and friends of the POIs and BC can't be shown in pictures. Ima said your picture is fine in post 749.

Crystal Hope Lowery, 41, pleaded not guilty to charges of capital murder and kidnapping. The video arraignment was at the request of her attorney Rick Holliman, who also declined to ask for bond because of the severity of the charges.

Holliman said he's been Lowery's attorney since about 10 days after Carter's body was found.

I think this was the attorney we discussed. Apparently, according to him, he was at least representing her in the charges for some period of time. It also discusses why he did not ask for bond, which we also discussed.
