More at Fort Smith man hasn’t been seen since his house caught fire

The article states that the house had no working utilities. How did Bill live there if that's the case?

From the article in the original post:

Parker's vehicle sits outside his home, which, also has family members concerned.

"The fire started early in the morning, and he goes work around five or so, but the problem is the front door was locked from the inside," said Gaston.
...
The home had no working utilities, which has led the fire marshall to call the fire suspicious, "There's nothing actually here that would actually contribute to the ignition of a fire," said Bishop.

Monday was the third time firefighters looked in the debris after his house caught fire during the early morning hours of Wednesday, February 19th.

"We wanted to make sure we didn't overlook anything so we came back today," Fort Smith Fire Marshall, Tommy Bishop said. "I think at this point we can say he's not there."

No working utilities? Perhaps he used a space heater that caused the fire?
What did he use for heat?

Since he had no utilities, he may have built a fire inside the home to keep warm. Or he had a gas camp stove or grill he used for cooking and heating water and for heat. When you

I find it hard to believe that LE could miss the charred remains of the dog AND Bill, so more than likely they're not there.

One of the earlier posted articles did say that the fire dept. and LE searched thoroughly, and I think I recall they went back a 3rd time to search, just to make sure.Bumping for Bill!
