FB group has an update of what came out of the meeting tonight. I think the greatest part is that it seems all sides are working together! Great news for Cassie no matter what happened here, the best way to bring her home is for everyone to work as a team w her as the too priority!

One more post I am having trouble locating-someone indicated early on that Brandon had taken Cassie to the Dr on a Thursday before she went missing. Took her via bicycle? Did they walk? Because he didnt drive legally, right?

I remember that she had been but not the date or who. But I remember this part- "(Cassie had been to the doctor a few days earlier for a bad cold and was on medication)"

Unfortunately, the only named suspects are the two adults in the home with Cassie. Ugh. Of course, there may be unnamed ones.

There has been alot of discussion on this thread concerning Casscoe and ping records driving that search. I have never gotten this straight in my mind as to who said there were pings driving the search in this area? And there was also some discussion regarding a search for disarticulated remains (poor baby)...I would like to know who the source was for that info too. I think it was the same search or maybe two separate ones?

ETA: Did someone say that the Casscoe ping/pings were from Brandon's phone? If so, I wonder if he was making the call to TS?

The first search (October 4, led by local LE and FBI) started in the area of the local airport and ended in the Casscoe area due to phone pings (not sure who's phone). This was told to me by the SAR leader who led the second search and was a team leader in the first search. The second search (October 11) started one block from Cassie's home and visited many areas in and around Stuttgart. We all started along railroad tracks and in a wooded area within 2 blocks of her home. We were advised that if she was taken somewhere this close to the home that she very well could have been dismembered for easier transportation. We also searched some other areas on the edge of town and near reservoirs where BR reportedly likes to ride his bike. We searched a large rice hull dump area and coal ash dump site as well, where there would be little traffic besides the occasional semi or dump truck. We searched along the banks of reservoirs in the area, on the lookout for any rolled up blankets, tarp, etc and any recently dumped trash bags. There was also a group that searched a cemetery in town because a resident in the neighborhood called LE on BR because he seemed to be loitering and snooping around the area. The resident told LE that he had asked him how much traffic goes through there on a daily basis. This information came from the SAR leader. (I'm guessing I can say these things now that BR is definitely a suspect, right?)

I am bumping my lightbulb moment just in case someone has some more input on this.

Maybe Donamena can say something about it? She knows a lot about various cultures, especially their religions. Just a suggestion. :)

My husband was told by Ms. West (the lady who wrote the editorial) that BR had taken her to the doctor, which would have had to be in JC's car. However, this information is not confirmed anywhere... most details like that aren't.

Thanks for clarifying that, STM.
Frankly, I'm sort of...well, I don't know. Perplexed I guess. Barring a known crime scene, I guess maybe that's just not the kind of information I would expect LE to share with volunteer citizen searchers.
God bless you, and I'm so sorry you had to do that.

Ditto...on all accounts. I'll pick my chin up off the ground now...

I enjoyed being able to get out there and feel like I was helping in some way. I know if it came to finding something, regardless of how much I mentally tried to prepare myself, I'd probably still be a basket case for a while. But Cassie needs to be found... hopefully it will be alive, but even if it's another outcome she still deserves to be found and put to rest. [modsnip]... she has barely got to live her life and that gets to me. From everything I have learned, her life hasn't been too desirable... and I know it shouldn't, but it makes it so much more unfair for her.

Sadly this does not sound like they are looking for an alive Cassie!

Okay, I feel old and uncool. There are some abbreviations on here that I don't know. I had to google KWIM. BBM? MSM? (I know it's not 'Man Seeking Man". lol)

Absolutely. I just have never been involved in a search where LE was disclosing that sort of potential evidence to civilian searchers. In fact, the exact opposite. That sort of potential crime has immense ramifications, both in and out of court and, well, it just seems rather irresponsible to me. But that's just my own experience. You had also mentioned, I believe, that you were only required to sign in for this search. No gov ID? Is that correct or do I have the wrong search?

I'm trying to do some general searching on the area of Stuttgart, it is much larger than I expected. It's been mentioned that it's a small town but the population is over 9,000. That's hardly an everybody knows everybody sized town. The land area of Stuttgart alone is over 6 square miles.

Are there any vacant houses in the block that Cassie lived on or the two blocks north of there? There is an alley that runs through Cassie's block and the blocks north. If I were to try to move around undetected at night w/o a vehicle, I'd opt for alleys instead of streets w/o possible street lights.

Was BR squatting in a vacant house after JC kicked him out?
If so was this searched?

Am I the only one that finds it strange that BR took Cassie to the doctor for an apparent cold??? Considering her mum announced that 'the butt head is gone' on social media I would think him taking her anywhere would not be Cassies idea!!! I'm not going to type what I think the doctor visit may have been for because that's just speculating.... But it could explain some things!!! Can LE request doctors records for a missing person with parental consent?

MOO!!

MOO!!

It's not understood if BR or JC took CC to the doctor. It's just stated she recently went to the doctor for a cold and was on MEDS for the cold.
