Bumping for Cassie! Where are you precious girl?

I can't believe there isn't an update on this case anywhere. I thought about Cassie all weekend. To come here and find no update is really sad. :(

FWIW, my hinky meter is still going nuts.

The police or FBI needs to do a preser, if even just to put her name out there and remind people that a little girl is missing. I'm right there with you all.... Frustrated!

why does this remind me of Sydney Randall?

Sad that a full court press is not being done for this young girl. So what is she is a runaway? She's a child still. Why isn't there more publicity, more searches? Has her cell phone bee checked/ The records? Something is very wrong here.

So is Cassie's bio dad and her older sister's bio dad one and the same or does the older sister have a different father?

This is awful. Just read this thread and I am totally shocked that this is being considered a runaway case by LE. This child has two SO parents, a person outside of the family is saying there were problems at home...

I mean come on.

I wouldn't blame her if she had run away, but I just don't think she has.

They should check older men in Little Rock. What did her internet activity say.

Mother is not an RSO. That page above is one of those commercial types, probably listed due to the statute she was given probation for- which coincides with Dad's arrest/conviction. She is not in the Oklahoma registry.

I copied some of the comments I saw on her page and sent them to the admin of the page (re the "relationship" with an older guy) and her sister said that particular person has been in jail so not able to harbor her.

Hey there...I am a new Web Sleuther...got involved due to a case in Virginia where I live. I was looking at this case and saw the same BIG BOLD RED FLAG when I linked to her Facebook page. The "older dude" even changed his Profile Pic the day after she went missing. Hmmmm.... and makes some VERY interesting comments on his own site. I'm going to keep sleuthing this but I'm so glad that someone else has already seen what I saw. Reading Cassie's comment about "I'm not with this guy" (paraphrased) and then someone else warns him in the same post....RED FLAG!~

Given the "older guys" Facebook page postings, I wouldn't consider this a runaway if I were making the call. I'd be hauling someone's arse into an interrogation room!

Actually I don't think the older guy has much to do with it, although the interactions with him and his own comments on SM do shine a light on what this little girl saw as normal and what kind of life she had.

I think this has more to do with home.

"Gone like a whisper in the wind" is such a peculiar and unsettling thing to say in this context.

And FWIW I couldn't even make it through the whole 9 minute interview with the mom. I was cringing throughout and it made me feel so sad for Cassie. Fake crying is the complete worst. That woman knows something, there is no mother on the planet that couldn't shed a tear over their missing child, unless they know something about it.

It reminded me of the Shannon Matthews case here in the UK. Shannons mum was on camera begging for her return, begging for info. Not a tear was shed, and it turned out she knew where Shannon was all along and had organised the whole thing to get the reward money. Shannon was found alive.

I'm not saying the motivation is the same, but the lack of tears certainly feels similar.

I just read through the thread also and had the same reaction. Jane Velez-Mitchell's interview with her best friend's mother is very interesting. Did the police ever say one way or another if the mother's boyfriend did contact the police?

Heartbreaking story. The outlook appears bleak for Cassie.

I'm reminded of a recent WS case, & I think it also happened in Arkansas. A teen girl is missing, mother was ill, sleeping when daughter came home in the evening. Mom awakens to find daughter not there, step-dad arriving back at home & evasive about where he had been. Seems like there was a suicide.... can anyone point me to this thread?
